A consistent YATS – the drunken chicken and red beans with sausage were very good along with the slab of delicious bread.

Staff here were quick and efficient – I think I had my Togo order in my hands in less than five minutes from order to out the door.

Good location, easy in-and out. Parking around the back, on the street, or across the street in the Meijer parking lot.

The best. So grateful to have a great cajun spot so close to home. Everyone is always so nice & the food is always great. If this place ever closed I would genuinely mourn. My husband and I are big fans!

Food: I had drunken chicken and spinach with mushroom etouffee. They serve half & half entree with rice and garlic bread. I loved the taste. They have wide variety of hot sauce to keep you charged up from all the organ of your body.
I tried two hot sauce and it was hot!!!!

Service: Gentlemen explained and quick response.

Atmosphere: It is nice & comfortable seating arrangement to be with your loved ones, friends and family. I must say they have variety of antiques/interior. It was great to see those details.

Conclusion: Must go place to eat and enjoy!!This place is worth for the money we spend.

Great quiet and festive restaurant. The food was flavorful (although it needed a bit of salt). I really appreciate that this place supports the local art community by hosting a variety of artwork for sale. It was a very pleasant experience!

Yats is always amazing. The bread is fantastic. I really liked this location – full of more light than the other locations I’ve been to. We ate outside too.
Good service and great food.

We were just passing through Indy and found this restaurant on Google. The food really was very good and very inexpensive. We bought 3 full plates and 4 drinks for $37. I had chicken Maque Choux for the 1st time I ate every bite! My wife and daughter shared Red Beans and Sausage. Definitely would go back and recommend you try it too.

Overall 7️⃣ / 1️⃣0️⃣ !!!

Trying to write my reviews in best to less than ideal format.

I got the chili and cheese etouffee with crawdad ($10), a fountain drink (TWO DOLLARS! ), and a cheesecake ($5.25) with whipped cream and fruit drizzle.

Note: That’s an increase of one AMERI CAN dollar for entrees and dessert, and a ¢.50 increase for drinks.

I went in around 4 and it was slow. THE FOOD CAME OUT BEFORE I COULD FINISH SIGNING MY RECEIPT! Not saying YATS is fast food, but that food does come out fast.

The etouffee is as good as usual and is fairly uniform in look and taste regardless of the location, as it seems. (KEEP IT UP )

The fountain drink!
Ahem… Unless you’re dining in, I’d advise just getting a drink elsewhere. Two doll-hairs woo!

The cheesecake… Ehhh…
It’s rich and creamy, and tastes great! HOWEVER COMMA looking back at how big the pieces used to be, at this location, from last year alone, is just a case of shrink-flation and is a do not buy in my book.

The price paid for what I got could have gone to a Meijer cheesecake, which happens to offer both soda and cheesecake but a distinct lack of Cajun styled food. Just a thought.

The artwork for purchase at this location makes it unique to me. I thought about featuring some photos of them and realized that I might have been harming the artist in the process. You’ll just have to swing on by to get a look!

Super chill place with a very welcoming atmosphere. I took the recommendation of my server and tried the chili cheese etoufee, along with advice from the friend who recommended this cool spot to ask for “extra bread“. Everything was amazing! Just the right amount of spice and lots of hefty crawfish pieces nestled in the creamy sauce. Enjoyed the outside seating on the sidewalk as I cleaned my plate. Great food, good service, very reasonable price, perfect week night meal out!

this was seriously the best food ive ever eaten in my life. no joke. i set a picture of the drunken chicken as my lockscreen for the rest of the day and every time i think about it i shed a tear. and i’d never even had cajun or creole food before this. and im like super mega scared-of-spices type of white. You Need To Eat Here. literally $10 for the most delicious meal ive ever tasted.

1st time here. My son wanted Creole food today and likes this place. I was able to sample before I ordered. I went with the 1/2 & 1/2 plate. I had the Chili Cheese Etoufee w/ Crawfish and Chicken Maque Choux. Very tasty and it was served with 2 Pieces of bread. I will visit again when I am back in Indy.
