Friggin AWESOME!!! That’s the most succinct way to put it!
We learned about this place through a doctor’s visit nearby and are so glad that we stopped by. If you ever wanted to own a super cool laid back awesome food and drink kind of place, this is what you would it would be!
We had a late lunch meal that consisted of an order of the dry rub wings, fried pickles, my wife had the Byzantine burger with sweet potatoes fries and I had the Mastodon burger with onion rings. Both were highly suggested by our server and she was spot on!
I’m usually not a big fan of dry rub wings but these were outstanding. To the point that I think I now prefer these specific dry rib wings to any other wings I’ve had anywhere!
The fried pickles were great and the dipping sauce was delicious, there was something very unique about the sauce and it complemented everything.
The Byzantine Burger was extremely tasty with the sauce being a big part of it, the sweet potato fries were wonderful as well.
The Mastodon Burger just hits right! The maple sriracha gives it just the right sweet and heat that will have you coming back for more!
The atmosphere was great, the music was simply outstanding with the decor matching. It’s not often restaurants display the passion of their owners like this place does.
They’ve got a great selection of beers, unfortunately with a long road trip back to Beckley, we didn’t get to experience them much but there are plans for future visits that will include plenty of beer.
I feel horrible for not recalling our server’s name, but she was spectacular! Regular check ins with us and kept our drinks full while providing great conversation and history of the restaurant.
If you’re in the area, this is most certainly a destination you have to check out!

A pretty good sized group of us stop in. It is a really nice place. Clean put together nice. Pretty good atmosphere. Looks like it could be a little bigger. The outside patio is nice. The even have heaters out there. When we came they had the heaters on. It had just gotten warm outside. It was a better much. But when asked they turned them off. The food was really good enjoyed my burger and fries. A little different kind of one from normally for me. The sweet tea was brewed. Which is always a plus for me. The services was good. Food not cheap. But i do think it is worth it. Everything that came to our table looked good and smelled good. A few of the guys come there a lot and love it. 5 stars
I would go back again. If you have not tried it you should. The had some games on and different kinds of beers. Some music playing.

These burgers are amazing! Very big and well cooked patties with perfectly seasoned toppings. There is a huge selection of drinks. Huge selection of burgers with so many different add-ons like pulled pork, egg, bacon, etc. The prices are surprisingly good! The place is pet friendly, so you will see many animal lovers sharing meals with furry friends. A+

First time being here for lunch today. GREAT food. As someone with a ton of food allergies (not life threatening) I was able to order straight off the menu with zero substitutions and that is VERY rare. Service was great prompt and nice. Will definitely be making this a regular spot.

This place will not disappointed. From their wings and cheese curds to pretzel bites and burgers. Always good food. The burger is as good as its looks! Plus you can eat affordably!!

We stopped and got a couple burgers from Oscar’s after hearing several good things from a friend. We placed an order over the phone and they had the food waiting when we arrived. While we didn’t stay to eat at the restaurant, it looked clean, bright, and well maintained, with some outdoor seating available as well.
Our burgers and sweet potato fries were still nice and warm once we stopped to have them. While the fries weren’t very crispy, they had a great flavor and were cooked well, which isn’t always the case with sweet potato fries. The spicy sauce that came with the fries was a great compliment as well.
The burgers themselves were excellent. I’m not always a huge fan of thick patty burgers, but these were perfectly cooked and juicy, with excellent, fresh toppings. We both got the C. O. C. Burger and we were very impressed. I’d definitely recommend them and we will absolutely be back for more in the future.

Oscars was recommended to us by my brother. Our family really enjoyed the menu. Our appertizers were great. Boneless wings suprised me(not usually a fan… i like traditional wings), but i liked Oscars. Burgers are awesome!! You had better be hungry when you come.We are a boxer family so when we read the reason it was named Oscars it solidified this place as our new spot to go! Thank you Oscars for the good meal i had with my family.

Excellent service and a great variety of unique takes on American bar offerings. We stayed simple and had our regulars and were well pleased. The club was good with well toasted bread. The chicken club was very good as well. Boneless wings were simple but worth taking home the leftovers. The fries were different but very tasty even though they lacked in texture.
The beer offerings were great with many local beers and a take home option as well. The liquor bar was limited but had everything you needed.
