These are the best burgers you’ll ever have! I don’t eat meat, but love that I can sub a vegan patty on any of their burgers, or even vegan fried chicken on the chicken sandwich.

One of the best veg burgers I’ve had in Santa Barbara. Easy vegan options. It’s a Beyond Burger patty and they did not overcook it. Great texture, the bun was toasted perfectly, and the toppings were fresh. I also split a side salad with apricot vinaigrette and sweet potato waffle fries with a friend — I would recommend. I paid about $22 for the veg burger and side salad. The add-ons really add up.

I met up with some family members at the Goleta Mesa Burger for what was supposed to be a pleasant Sunday lunch. There was an untrained girl working the till who had to be shown how everything was done, so it took a while to place my order. I chose the Mesa Burger, and when it arrived the patty was pink and almost raw. I took it back to the counter and the girl said “oh, did you want it well done?” She said they’d do it again for me, so I went back to my seat, and waited. And waited, and waited. Eventually I asked the waitress whether my order would be ready soon and she clearly hadn’t put it in: she asked “what was it you wanted again?” A few minutes later, she served my re-done order – still pink and underdone. By then the rest of my group had finished their lunches, and I wasn’t in the best of moods. I went up to the counter and asked for a refund. It took two people about ten minutes to figure out how to do that. Mesa Burger have almost doubled their prices since lockdown, but I have no idea how their customers can possibly be satisfied with this low standard of customer service and poorly cooked food. For half the price and for much better quality food, I’ll stick to In-n-Out Burger and will be telling friends to avoid Mesa Burger.

I really liked the food. I didn’t expect it to be so gourmet-ie given that it’s a burger joint. The gal that helped me had such a positive vibe and made sure to check in with us to see if we needed anything else. Her name is Rowena. It’s hard to forget a name like that or a smile as beautiful. Thanks Mesa Burger! We’ll definitely be back!

My family spent the weekend in Santa Barbara and on the last day I found this gem! Omg this place was by far my favorite of the whole weekend. I’m so happy they were open for takeout during this COVID pandemic. I got the Montecito Burger with truffle fries and it was amazing!!! The flavor and the juiciness of the burger was so delicious. I’m literally craving it right now writing this review. I normally don’t even like goat cheese but that s**t was BOMB!!! There fries were delicious as well. Of course they were though, everything is better with truffle. The kids loved their chicken fingers. They were trying to save some leftovers because it was so good. I thought that was funny. My whole family loved everything they got. And there was an order for 8 people and only cost about $120. That’s an amazing price!!! I’ll definitely visit SB again just for this place alone!

The burger was ok. The chicken sandwich & the gluten free bun were both delicious! (Together & separately)unfortunately, the burger was sitting for awhile, before the chicken sandwich was ready. The hostess picked up the fries that had fallen on the plate, & placed them back in the cup with her fingers, while she was waiting for other plates to come up.
