Those who know me also know that I frequently post about food and restaurants. I have never posted a negative review or comment before. Only one such experience has occurred before, but that was a restaurant that previously had always provided superb food and service. They likely still do.

Spent a week at the Omni and ended up eating breakfast at Meritage every morning. We were on East Coast time, so maybe we missed the morning rush. Food was delicious, especially the bagels and small croissants. And our server Kyle was excellent and also extremely personable. It was a highlight of our day!

I only ate here one time. The Colorado Breakfast was good. I took off a star because the waiter dropped my toast on the table then proceeded to ask if I wanted another slice. When he returned, it was burnt and I had to scrape it in order to eat the toast.

Seems like it’s hit or miss with the service at this place. We had a miss. Had to wait over an hour to get our food and at least twenty minutes for drinks. And it was not busy. Thankfully for them we were hanging out with friends who were staying there or we would have left before the food came out. Everything is overpriced.

The worst service known to mankind. One poor waiter waiting on 6 tables apologizing to everyone for the slow service. Guys with his two kids next to me never got their meal. My daughters fruit plate was really sad looking for 10 dollars.

My husband and I had reservations on New Year’s Eve. Greeting was mediocre, their front door was locked so we couldn’t come in to use the coast room. The hostess didn’t offer for us to use it either.

We used to go to the Meritage regularly for the Sunday brunch and occasional dinners, but we haven’t been there in a few years. They changed the brunch, and the dinner menu is very limited. At one point, they completely changed staff, and the familiar faces and friendly atmosphere disappeared.
