This place offers a tasty selection of salads and sandwiches. Its relaxed and spacious atmosphere provides a pleasant escape from the busyness of Uptown dining. The salads are full of flavors and reasonably priced.

The staff here is always exceptionally friendly. I could eat the impossible taco salad every day. Can’t really tell it’s “impossible” instead of real best except that its a little lighter. The sauce is delicious and reminds me of a better taco bell jalapeno ranch. Highly recommend!

We had the Not So fried sandwich on the 1/2 sandwich combo with the Kale and apple salad. The sandwich was good. I liked the mustard sauce and the idea we had 2 sauces to choose from. The Kale salad was soupy and mostly vinegar.. very acidic not something I would choose again.

One of the best sandwich and salad cafe chains is finally in West Village. Mendo serves creative sandwiches and salads that are tasty and fresh. We got the “study of heat” and the Thai chili sandwich and both were great. Highly recommend the spicy couscous side. They also have great lemonade such as ginger turmeric and Rose flavor.

Just be aware for people wanting to work over here. They mistreated employee. Sexual harassment done by General Manger and bullying done by others managers and Human Resources could care less after being notified. After I called HHRR and communicate my concerns, they never responded. So as a proof of this poor treatment behavior toward employees… there is another previous review where a customer says the same. I was a former employee, who resigned and My letter never was given to HR just because these managers were more focus on mistreatment employees. I hope some of those manager specially Tim and Ryan be aware of the damaged cause to a woman, Perhaps something like this do not happen to his daughter. EEOC was late and lawyers were aware. So protect yourself and do not work in a place like this where women in the back house were all getting hours cut out until they resign perhaps no woman have to go trough what I went trough. I made it public since they refuse to talk but ignore, so it is a warning for future employees.

BLT sandwich was good – salad dressing didn’t taste like much. Got a soup & potato salad that was also pretty bland. Maybe I got the wrong things, will probably give it another chance just because the ingredients tasted and looked fresh.

Fresh!! Fresh!! Fresh!! The Impossible Taci Salad is amazing. I’m a meat lover, but that salad can kept me away from meat a few days per week. The Curry Cous Cous is very tasty as well, just wish it was served warm.

This is a chain from California that I am so glad is now is Texas! They have a great variety of different healthy sandwiches and bowls. I have tried the not so fried chicken and Smokey elote bowl. I liked the Smokey elote bowl a little more than the sandwich. They also have these amazing aqua fresca drinks- the rose and green juice being my favorites. I really think where this restaurant shines is the customer service. People are so so nice and care about you! While I was waiting to pick up my order, the staff there offered me a drink for my wait and were making conversation with me. They seemed actually happy to be there. This really is a good addition to west village!

Fresh and filling sandwich! The deli side was take it or leave it, but the sandwich made up for it. Didn’t go during rush hour, so can’t speak to prolonged wait times. This location is by the DMA and office buildings, so easy parking nearby is difficult.
