Stopped in for breakfast and it was great. The banana bread French toast was incredible, super flavorful and perfectly cooked. We also had the lox bagel, which was fresh and loaded with toppings. The hash browns were crispy and everything came out fast.
Really cozy place with friendly service and good prices for being right in downtown Chicago. Would definitely come back.

Whenever I’m looking for breakfast spots I pick places with a unique menu and meli did not disappoint! They had a lot of fun options to choose from and we enjoyed our brunch. I could definitely see myself coming back to try something new! We sat outside on their patio on a beautiful day and it was so nice. I would highly suggest more umbrellas for the outdoor seating but we enjoyed our meal here!

We tried this breakfast diner in the Loop and had a good overall experience. The service was a bit slow but not a big issue.

The gluten-free French toast was decent though not very fluffy. The avocado toast with eggs and fruit was very good and the pancakes were tasty but slightly crumbly.

I also had an iced oat milk vanilla latte it was excellent! The only downside is that there’s no sugar-free vanilla syrup option 🙁

Overall a solid breakfast spot with minor room for improvement !!

Went here on a chilly weekend morning to have a little brunch action and wasn’t disappointed.

Srepped out of my comfort zone and had the grits topped with with beef stew which is something I’ve never had before. It was definitely delicious and hearty!

Along with that had two of their house bloody mary’s infused with a nice big piece of crunchy bacon.

Would definitely visit again… there wasn’t a wait at all although I imagine it would have been a little bit busier if the weather was a little bit warmer

Parking wasn’t hard to find there’s a lot just a block away.

Vegans in Chicago
Our first full day in Chicago, we found a restaurant that had vegan options. The menu items we got were:
Vegan Pancakes with strawberries and bananas x 3
️ Tofu Scrambler
Whole Wheat Wrap
☕️ Oat Latte, Chai, Chamomile
The amount of food that came out was quite filling! The pancakes were hefty and everything tasted healthy. The ambiance was quite dreamy as well, we went on a weekday in the morning. ✨♥️

We had breakfast here and were pleasantly surprised with the vibe and options they had. They do have vegan and gluten free options- though somewhat limited. I got the vegan pancakes which were okay, but nothing to write home about. The shredded hash browns were yummy and my friends enjoyed their food. Whoever was on aux had the best music taste & our server was very attentive and kind. They do not split bills- they said they can do one bill or split it evenly in half- kind of odd, but just expect that if you’re going with a group. Overall, it was a nice breakfast spot but because of the limited options, I would not go again.

This place is attached to out Bluegreen building so we gave a shot for breakfast. Service was a little slow to be greeted but came out quick. It was pretty busy I’m sure it was because there was a riot going on around the corner. Food wasn’t anything you must have but it was good. I got the eggs Benedict and the eggs were very small. If I go back will try something different

This place was just okay. I wouldn’t recommend it in a city like Chicago where you have countless other options. We ordered two fresh squeezed juices and a cappuccino. The juices came after about 10 min, but still no cappuccino. The waitress said it was in the works then never came by the table again for about 15 min. I had given up on the cappuccino and ordered from the Starbucks on the corner instead. The cappuccino finally came after I ordered from Starbucks as well, 25 min after I had ordered it from the restaurant. Our food came after about another 10 min. We had fluffy pancakes, that were actually fluffy and a veggie frittata that was bland but got the job done.

It’s a vibrant and popular spot with an excellent menu. The food was delicious and beautifully presented to whet the appetite. A cool place with a calm setting to enjoy a meal. Their drink menu offers choices that are a must-try. Definitely a place not to miss when in Chicago.
