Main Street Diner is a family-owned Mexican and American diner serving Danbury, Connecticut since 1999. We are well-known for our specialty: tacos, marinated in our secret recipe!
We offer authentic and never-frozen food through a number of taco specialties, including carnitas, beef, chicken, and Al Pastor! We also provide flavorful tamales, burritos, sandwiches, and weekend specials to give our wonderful customers delicious dishes at a discount! I did like the area and the atmospherewas comfortable. The workers were friendly and nice . The music was going which is relaxing and the tripa tacos were excellent!!!!. I also ordered a oatmeal /banana smoothie which was delicious. Since I am a truck driver I parked across the street at a grocery store and walked to this diner

It is a diner, but what makes it even better is that it is a Mexican diner that has delicious food. One can enjoy some authentic traditional Mexican food, or you can have a delicious and authentic American breakfast or lunch.
The staff are beautiful and hard working. The owner is from mexico and she has been running it since 1999. She’s an impressive person and is completely dedicated to getting the best results for her establishment.

Old-school diner with a wide range of American and Mexican dishes. Like bacon egg and cheese sandwich was large and excellent, with tasty, crunchy bacon. Service is super friendly and very fast. Prices are reasonable.

This place is a hidden gem. Locally run and operated. Very much a family diner. I love this place for breakfast. Always quick, freshly made, and absolutely delicious. Parking is around back.

Loved this quaint little Mexican diner in Danbury. Chilaquiles is so good if you’re trying something other then a regular American omelet. Coffee was good. Service was excellent.
