I have finally gave this place a visit after driving past it many times. Upon arrival, I was lucky to get parking upfront, was greeted by their friendly staff and seated immediately. Their menu is simple and cocnsists of many different noodle soups to choose from. The interior is modern and looks like they have just been renovated. The wait for the food was not too bad, either way it does not bother me since I’m a very patient person. Lastly I would recommend this place for soup lovers or anyone looking to try something new. I would be back to try out other items they have to offer.

A gem on Mission St., Daly City. First the food is excellent – everything I’ve tried here has been excellent. Portions are big and we’ve been able to get another meal out of our order for lunch the next day. Second, the service is great. We’ve come in a few times with the whole family and they take excellent care of kids as well as adults. And inside, the ambiance is lovely – a great place to eat in or take out.

Update: Came during shelter in place and still great! We ordered the duck noodles and chicken fat noodle soup. Both were just as good as we remembered. We also tried their fries. I wasn’t expecting much, but they actually gave a big portion! Highly recommend the duck noodles.
I came here on a Tuesday night with a friend. Parking can be a little tricky as it’s in a pretty residential area. It’s pretty small, but super clean. We were seated immediately, with a few people eating there also.
We ordered the jingchuan dumplings, roast duck dried egg noodles, and the IPOH shredded chicken fat noodle soup. The dumplings were a great starter. They weren’t spicy at all. The noodles came shortly after. The roast duck noodles came with a soup. The noodles were great. The duck wasn’t super fatty, but was still really good. My friend really enjoyed her bowl of noodles as well. The bowls are pretty big, but we ended up finishing everything.
I would definitely recommend this place! The noodles are really good and the ingredients seem fresh. Parking can be tricky, but definitely a convenient place for some noodle soup.

Ordered the shrimp dumpling noodle soup to go, it was extremely salty, and not much flavor in the broth otherwise. In addition, the only ingredients were the dumplings, noodles and bok choy with a couple piece of scallion onion. Onion and carrot were sorely missed. Overall very lacking with ingredients, flavor and too salty.

We found out multiple plastic wraps / films in our fried cod. I think it was not peeled off completely from the frozen fillets before they battered them. They made us a second one yet the film remained…
The noodles were good but very salty.

Writing this review in the hopes more people discover this place! We were craving a warm noodle soup and were curious to try their menu of southeast Asian dishes. We read that this place had the best laksa and were excited to try. Portions are generous and service was quick!

We ordered the signature laksa noodles and the duck dry noodles. Both dishes were very flavorful but unfortunately after eating, we felt bloated and my SO had the runs so something in the food is off. Also to note, when we entered the restaurant, it smelled slightly like sewage. Really wanted to like this place but probably won’t be returning.

This place confuses me a little bit because their presentation is always 10 stars- their dishes, their broths, their outward textures always look and seem solidly amazing. Always. I don’t think I’ve seen a questionable or bad photo from this place out there! That’s pretty incredible.
However, the taste of their noodles and soups just seem lacking or somehow just don’t quite hit-the-mark. My laksa house special curry dish for example, was made with a thin rice vermicelli noodle that doesn’t absorb sauce/flavor at all, so my experience of this dish involved alternating drinking broth, eating toppings, and consuming ‘dry’ noodles, none of which can really be considered that appealing when separate from each other. The flavor of the broth was intriguing, with lemongrass and other rich flavors which were interesting but not something I’d personally crave.
I enjoyed my husband’s roast duck with dried egg noodles in XO sauce more, but we both agreed that the specific sauce mix was a bit salty and the flavor of this dish was generally off from our personal preferences.
All that said, the price and portion sizes were good, the dishes looked good, and I can’t dismiss the possibility that these possibly taste perfect to someone perhaps of a Laotian or other background with a different flavor profile than we have… then again, it could just all come down to one guy experimenting with flavors in the back kitchen, who doesn’t have it quite down yet… In any case, their flavors just weren’t for us, unfortunately, and we won’t be coming back.

Good presentation, our server was friendly and fine.
But the noodles were just
*So* bad
My friend described their dish as “the second worst restaurant food I’ve ever had”

Food is surprisingly good here. The beef rib soup noodle is better than any pho. The crispy duck salad is unique.
