The staff is super friendly and they offered great suggestions from their expansive menu. We will be back to try some of their homemade food very soon.

We went to Mekatos yesterday, I was super tired due to a long work day. We ordered a Calentao, a Soup of the day and a picada. The food was really great, i felt like at home, super kind and attentive service, an example of our latin kitchen flavor. 100% recomended.

This Colombian place was super cuterz Staff was quite friendly and serviceable. Authentic Colombian food at its best. If you want to maekatear (Colombian slang for snacks, lite bites), they have all the classics such as empanadas, pan de bonos and arepas but they also serve full authentic Columbian meals as well. This is what I did and took some mekatos home as well

Let me start telling that I’m Cuban so when I starts praising Colombians people don’t said “of course he should be from Colombia”. I went there with my family after a weekend trip because we really love Colombian cuisine and we were not disappointed. The place is wonderful, really nicely decorated. The service was amazing, like always Colombians are extremely kind. Food there is amazing, we definitely going back next Sunday to have breakfast. Pandebonos and empanadas, one of the best I have in Miami. My wife had a mango milkshake and I need to tell it was delicious. Server was constantly attended if we need anything, water or something for the kids. My kids also enjoy the food, and that surprised me because they rarely eat outside of the house or McDonald’s lol. If you want to have a delicious breakfast with a truly taste of Colombia you should visit Mekatos.

It was very disappointing. I went because I had seen it on social media. Boy was I disappointed. The interior is very nice very cute but the food was sub par. Truly am disappointed I drove 30 minutes to get there just to be disappointed. The empanadas were overdone and burned the buñuelos and pan de bono cold. The chicarrón lacked flavor. I couldn’t believe it.

I love Pan de Bono and Tequeños and for the past 3 months I have visited 12 different Colombian bakery . Today I decided to check this little restaurant, I was not disappointed. The Tequeño was warm , dough was soft, cheese was ‘queso blanco’ the best cheese for Tequeño. They had just taken the Pan de Bono out the over, so it was nice and hot . By far their Pan de Bono is the top 3 I ever had in Miami . Bread was soft and spongy, it had a little crispness at the bottom . Amazing . I will make sure to come back and try their food . Also, the cashier and waitress who attended me was very sweet and kind .

This Colombian restaurant is outstanding. The empanadas, chicharrones, tortilla, frijoles are delicious, not to mention the buñuelos that are even better than in Colombia, the best ones I’ve ever had.

Wonderful staff that make you feel welcome! We only speak English, but this was no problem. They quickly found a waitress that spoke English and explained the menu. The waitress brought us pan de bono which was amazing! One of the best bakeries I’ve ever been in! If visiting Miami this is a must! Thank you!! Make sure to try the pan de bono!!!!

The arepa de choclo was soggy and you only get a small piece of cheese that is done in 3 bites. The tequeño with guava was better but even then those 2 items were $10 which is unreasonable.
