Not my first time enjoying lunch here but I usually order their lunch box special. Today I ordered their dumplings and I was amazed by how large the dumpling were. They were fresh, and perfectly cooked. They were too hot to eat so I enjoyed the three types of kimchi they offered; cabbage, turnip and cucumber. The turnip was my favorite so I went next door and bought a jar from their grocery. Everything tasted delicious.

The food was great, the yaki mandu (fried dumplings) were amazing and very large! I got the spicy seafood and veggie soup and there was more than enough for me to bring home and have again (which I am doing in the bowl photo and added more Korean pepper to make extra spicy)
I’ve already made plans with my friends to bring them here so we can try even more of the menu!
The store attached to the restaurant is also great and I was able to grab so many staples I needed to eat good Korean food at home!

This place is equipped not only with a restaurant but also an Asian food store. The main food items are mainly Korean, so I rarely saw Japanese or Chinese foodstuffs. In addition to foodstuffs, they also sell Korean tableware and sundries.

The food wasn’t as good as before the pandemic and the menu appears to be trimmed down as well. Even though I dined-in, the food comes in styrofoam containers and disposable silverware instead of on the plates like before the pandemic. I got the lunch box which came with beef bulgogi, spicy bulgogi, egg roll, fried rice, fried dumplings, fried chicken, and kimchi. Overall, I won’t be returning since there’s other good Korean food to be found in the area.

The lunch specials are fantastic and a great value! It’s enough for leftovers later, the kimchi is homemade and of course, fire. We always get extra kimchi. Bulgogi is my kid’s favorite, this is one of the hidden gems in JC.
