We loved this place! Our waiter Sam was extremely nice and friendly. At the end of our delicious meal he brought us a beautiful warm chocolate cake topped with vanilla ice cream on the house. All dishes were amazing and complex tasting. The shrimp appetizer was plentiful and perfectly cooked. The salmon was served in a delicious cilantro sauce and the spinach dish was nice and deep tasting. The restaurant is very spacious and tastefully decorated. A completely great meal experience. We will come back and look for Sam!

Dinner for 3 where we ordered non veg mixed grill which was good, chicken lollipops were average, entrees were butter chicken (awful and tasteless), lamb Kashmiri (average flavor and chewy meat), garlic naans were the highlight. I drove over an hour to come back to Mehndi – it’s THAT good! Everything is so well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. It’s the best Indian food in NJ in my opinion. In addition, the wait staff is extremely friendly and kind. Ask for Sam as your waiter! He will take such good care of you!

How are you gonna call this place the art of Indian dining when my GrubHub order was picked up in some random back room and this is what I paid $23 for. While the food was hot, I didn’t even get any rice with it and the sauce was way too watery for what Rogan josh should be. . I stopped here because I wanted some higher end Indian food and what I ended up getting was the worst quality I have ever gotten from any Indian restaurant. I would avoid this place at all costs. I certainly am not gonna try them again.
