They drowned our food in white sauce when I asked for it on the side. The quality of the chicken and lamb is very cheap you can tell from the texture and taste. Spent $42, what a waste!

I’m coming back to say, that you don’t know what you’re talking about. I ordered on DoorDash , I ordered two platters! You got the wrong person. At the end of the day, the food was disgusting! Get better quality food!

I recently dined at Mehfil Restaurant, and it was an absolute delight! The food was incredibly delicious and had that authentic, comforting feel of homemade cooking. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, just like something prepared in a family kitchen.
The staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, and super efficient. A special shoutout to Ahmed, who was exceptionally welcoming and took the time to answer all our questions about the Punjabi chicken biryani and other dishes. His recommendations made our experience even better.

The restaurant overall was quite good, and I appreciated the ambiance and service. However, I was very disappointed with the mutton biryani. It was mostly bones with barely any meat, which made it feel more like a “bones biryani” than a proper mutton biryani. At $20, it simply didn’t feel like a good value. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the quality of the dish accordingly.

One of the most disappointing dining experiences near Atlantic City. I would strongly advise fellow Indians — especially those from Hyderabad — to avoid this place. It doesn’t matter if the restaurant has been around for 25 or even 50 years; if the taste isn’t right, we simply won’t return.

We ordered several dishes including Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Biryani, Goat Biryani, Vegetable Biryani, and Chana Masala. Unfortunately, none of them lived up to even basic expectations. The Chicken Biryani tasted like plain turmeric (haldi) rice — lacking the aroma, flavor, and richness you’d expect from authentic Hyderabadi biryani. The Goat Biryani was dry and bland, and the Chicken Tikka Biryani was equally underwhelming. Even the vegetarian options were disappointing — the Chana Masala lacked depth and the Vegetable Biryani was just as flavorless.

Authenticity and taste are essential, especially with Indian cuisine, and this restaurant fails on both fronts. Would not recommend.

The address is listed as Pacific Ave but the restaurant is on Virginia Ave. The chicken Karahi was 60% bones and 40% meat. The taste was bland with cheap curry powder flavor. The restaurant was empty at 7:45 pm. Possibly one of worst tasting dishes.

The low reviews on this restaurant made me question even going but I was so delightfully surprised when I actually went. The food was amazing and the service was as well. I am so glad I took a chance and visited!

This butter chicken was absolutely delicious! The sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced, coating tender, juicy pieces of chicken in every bite. The balance of butter, tomato, and aromatic spices created a deep, flavorful experience.

The garlic naan was equally impressive. The fragrant garlic and butter made it the perfect companion to scoop up the velvety butter chicken sauce. Definitely a meal I needed after a long day at work!

Overall, this was a fantastic meal—comforting, flavorful, and satisfying. If you’re a fan of Pakistani/Indian cuisine, this place is a must-try!

Went for the buffet . Price and food were very good. There was mild and 2 spicy dishes for all to enjoy. When I went in there was just 1 other person , then the place quickly filled up and as it did they kept up with replenishing everything in a quick and mannerly fashion . There was a little bit of everything on the line , was pleased with this for I can never decide what I want .
Only down fall no toilet paper in bathroom , I seem to notice this in every Indian restaurant I go in . Kind of makes me think .

I had the Lamb wrapped in Naan bread. ($9.99 plus tax) It was quite hefty. I used a standard envelope for scale. Food was fresh and tasty. I couldn’t finish all of it in one sitting. I took my food home but the interior was clean, and quiet. The gentleman at the desk took my order and was nice. I would return for this item again. I parked on S Virginia Ave in the small lot there. There is no parking available right on Pacific Ave, just fyi.
