Matunuck Atilier is a phenomenal addition to Wakefield, Rhode Island. their menu is outstanding, drinks absolutely delicious, and they also support local businesses. Starting out, they offer valet service for their limited parking. As you walk in, they’ve got an impressive seating area with comfortable, cushioned seating, a large full wrap around bar and an oyster bar with swivel chairs for a more intimate seating. They’ve got dim, intimate lighting and a comfortable atmosphere. We started the night ordering the “Out-of-Office” which is garnished with a sliver of cucumber, and “Smoke Show Old Fashioned” which was smokey and had muddled fruit which made it sweeter for bourbon so it wasn’t overpowering. The Night Shift Espresso Martini was delicious and tastes similar to a mud slide, so sweet, but also a little strong because of buffalo trace bourbon cream. The Little Bit Lychee tastes like sweet vanilla with a lychee after taste and is garnished with a lychee. All their drinks were delicious. We ordered Ceviche and the Lobster-Vanilla Dumplings which were very good. For entrees, we ordered the Lobster and Squash soup which is to die for, Matunuck Lobster Ravioli which has crunchy onions on top and is phenomenal, and the Pan Seared Halibut Filet which is fresh, and pairs very well with the Ube puree and curry sauce. For dessert, we ordered the Affogato and their Almond cake. When they poured the Espresso over the ice cream, they were using Peter Pots pottery, and they are locally sourcing Green Line Apothecary Ice cream. Both desserts were an incredible close out for the meal, and not too overwhelmingly sweet. Overall, 10/10 and would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys the existing Matunuck Oyster Bar, or anyone who wants to try something new.

We had a FANTASTIC meal here. The ambience was amazing and tied the decor of this restaurant and Matunuck Oyster Bar together. The food was absolutely amazing! The cocktails were creative and tasted great! Perry had hit another home run on this restaurant! We can’t wait to go back!

Matunuck Oyster has always been a favorite of ours. We are retired and we drive from Central Mass to eat there . We were heartbroken when it burnt, but couldn’t wait to try Matunuck Atelier. Got there this week and totally loved it. As always, parking is a problem, but easy to park across the street. Food and service was excellent and the restaurant is really open and nice. We will absolutely go back.

Perry did such an immaculate job crafting this space. The ambience and atmosphere is next to none. South county RI needed this! Restaurant almost has a Miami/NYC feel in the best way. Food was incredible. We mainly did raw bar & the miso cod which was outstanding. We’ve been loyal customers for years of MOB and will continue to be for every venture! Shelby, Jenna, and Jim are especially outstanding. Perry always goes out of his way to check on each customer and make sure everyone is happy. It really shows.

Our visit on their first Friday in business was exceptional. We enjoyed Kumamoto and Matunuck oysters which were incredible, in addition to their sushi and sashimi offerings. Service was great! … as you would expect from Perry Raso and his team!

We had a great meal here the weekend of 2/20. The interior is beautiful, but I had to go to 4 stars because a good portion of the restaurant has seating that is extremely close to each other. Long benches on one side with the chairs on the other. The server is squeezed in between trying to talk to the guests with their backside to the other table. The biggest issue I had was how loud it was in there. We couldn’t hear our server or each other, which took away from the beauty of the place.

Our service was excellent, coursed out nicely, attentive and friendly. I also thought the prices were very reasonable as well. Valet was fast & efficient.

All of our food was delicious, and the homemade pasta was excellent.

I’d come back if I could be in one of the beautiful booths towards the bar with a larger group, but I’d not return with a party of 2-3 and have to sit in the front portion of the venue.

Overall, well done and appreciate the owner’s commitment to South County and took a long defunct building and invested in its redevelopment. I suspect it will be yet another success!

The food was exceptional i went with my wife on valentine’s day and they had no more reservations till 10:30 which didn’t really work for me i tasked to the owner perry about it and he accommodated me with a better time which was 8:45pm which worked way better for me i definitely recommend this amazing seafood restaurant if u want to go and have fresh seafood or to eat locally harvested fresh food whatever it is u may want there is definitely something there that u will love
