Me and my son come here every year when we are visiting family. The inside is what you would hope for in a hole in the wall BBQ joint. It’s clean and the owner is friendly. We always stick with just Jumbo Sandwich combos. He has a wide array of sauces to use as well. Prices are comparable to similar places. I recommend this place for anyone that likes the mom and pop places over the chains.

Cute place, large portions and great barbecue pork sandwiches. We had a piece of homemade pecan pie, with lots of pecans! They also make a homemade tomato vinegar sauce that’s just delicious. We make this a regular stop when we come through Norfolk.

I was met by a nice gentleman that went over the menu and made recommendations.. also, he had me try out his homemade barbecue sauce!! It was really good!!! It takes some time to get the order because of having to wait for French fries and hush puppies to cook.. I recommend this place!! Not great looking from the outside, but some of my best restaurants have had this same appeal!!

We have been wanting to stop by here for a long time and today we finally decided to try it out. It is a little cozy BBQ joint filled with Pig decor, bar stools, or table seating. We had to try the BBQ sandwiches. The two homemade sauces were awesome and paried perfectly with the coleslaw. I liked the more tomatoie one the best. The owner is a very nice and friendly man. The service was great and fast. If you have not been here yet, add it to your must-try list

My dad, Chuck Ridgeway, brought me here years ago and I fell in love with the wings! They’re smoked and deep fried, I can honestly say they have some of the best wings I’ve tried in my life. 10/10 I will always recommend!
