This chain on Pubs, breweries, historical Inns and quirky events are a one of a kind place. 60 plus locations are all unique in character, but you always know you are at a McMenamins by the decor of each is different but with a similar theme. Mostly the same menu as a whole but individual items specifically to that location’ menu changes quarterly.
Sherwood location is a heavily forest feel with lots of wood booths. Always very happy and friendly staff and a very comfortable feel about it. Z little like a British pub this one.
If you have never experienced a McMenamins you need to just do it. You will not be sorry

In comparison to other McMenamins locations, this one is pretty mundane. It’s located in a strip mall. It offers inside and outside seating. The layout reminds me of an Applebees but with McMenamins decorations. The food and drinks are of course McMenamins. Our server was great and made the experience great. It was strange too but be in a McMenamins restaurant that doesn’t scream historical history.

Good food, plenty of parking, and a warm atmosphere. Our orders were taken quickly, and the food came out in about 15 min. I have no complaints. Would recommend.

Food was yummy and staff were very nice. Lots of great options for beer, as well. And they have a changing table in the restroom if you have little ones.

Normally i give a 5 star review on this place. We came for dinner 2 nights ago, 1/13/25 and i ordered the gyro and it was so delicious ive been thinking about it for 2 days. I raved that it was better then the gyro house down the block. We decided to go get the same meal today 1/16/25. Time difference today was 4 pm. And the 13th it was 6:30 pm. Different shifts? I dont know …this gyro i was dying to have again. This one was so dry it was hard to swallow. No feta cheeseand barely any tziki, if any at all, which is in the description of the sandwich and was obviously thrown together. With no concern for the presentation of the plate… Definitely not worth $20.50 i was charged for the plate because i ordered cajin tots. Charged extra for them and tots were on the plate but not cajin tots as ordered. I checked online and it listed that the restraunt was “less busy than normal”. Im wondering what was the problem today? Why was this such a terrible sandwich today but so delicious 3 nights ago. Whatever cook they had working on 1/13/25. At 6:30 PM ish needs. Raise and should teach the 1/16/25 cook how to make the food more palatable.

$45 for two burgers. If they were good burgers who cares about the price – my burger was so thin. Frozen patty at the supermarket thin. But at the same time it was raw in the middle. No seasoning. Just a sad excuse for a burger. After giving us our food the waiter never came back to check on us so no, I didn’t have a chance to request a fully cooked burger. Will never be back. I’m not sure how this place is still opened

The waitress/bartender Margret has a horrible attitude & puts a damper on the entire atmosphere. She has no business being in the service industry!!! As long as she’s working there, you can absolutely count on the vibes being killed.

Food was good, service was perfect. Prices are simply not worth it for basic food however. The interior is worn down and more like a antique shop, not like a restaurant. The giant frogs are cool though.

This was my 1st visit here. I had the fish & chips and the fish tacos. Both were very good. The prices are average for a restaurant but a good value for our food. All around, I would visit again.
