We had the best time at this McMenamins! We came for some beer and to redeem a free tots reward from our passport. Service was quick and everything tasted fresh and great! Our server Elyse was so kind and welcoming – if you dine here, ask for her! She made our experience extra great. This location has a very cozy vibe and we enjoyed hanging out working on our laptops for a bit while we snacked and drank.

I used to love McMenamins,
especially the High Street location, but the quality of their food has declined drastically over the past few years. The chicken sandwich I had tonight had an off-putting, rubbery texture, and the delicious hand-cut fries they once served have been replaced with mediocre fries comparable to fast-food fare. It’s truly disappointing to see a once-beloved restaurant decline so noticeably. Service was fine, and the ambiance is always creative and cozy, but I will no longer be returning to their establishments.

Love supporting McMenamins. Been coming to High St. consistently 3 ta 4 times a month over the past 5 years.
Seen cooks change hands. Right now this cook needs to get the burgers right. Over and over very red/ not thoroughly cooked. Unlike what we experience with past cooks here or at other McMenamins. Sorry but it’s happened way too many times and it’s not being corrected. Even with multiple times informing of this to waiters.
I’m sure there’s a percentage that are okay with this so I’m not sure I’m speaking for everyone. Something other to note, the salad seems like it’s been gotten from a lesser quality source these days and you can see it and taste it. It’s not the way it used to be. Hopefully just a bad batch.

Thua ia the fireside roasted turkey half sandwich. This place has been a staple for me over the last 18yrs the prices have gone up but this sandwich is still delicious. The fries have changed in the last few yrs, I miss the old one’s but these are pretty tasty also

Super cute atmosphere great brewery. Black rabbit red wine was excellent I didn’t eat dinner but had the tater tots there. This is a must go to for a cozy drink a bite to eat

I came here with my husband and we sat at the bar. The most delightful woman helped us, her name is Dawn. She makes delicious drinks and is very prompt with her service. It’s great to chat with her and have a few laughs. The food is great. The price point makes sense. I always get the soup when I come here. Tonight it was creamy tomato basil and it was delicious. Very hearty. They have an outside patio and seating area. Parking is relatively easy to find after 6pm. I recommend their salads–and I definitely recommend the raspberry vinaigrette. We come here often and will continue to do so.

A little delayed on my review from May of 2020, but when I saw the pics and remembered how yummy the food was, the service was great, and the environment was quaint and comfortable, I had to leave something. We were very appreciative they were open to begin with, and then we had a lovely experience as well. We would definitely return. Great meeting spot with friends.

Friendly bartenders, no wait on a Saturday for one person, fabulous and inexpensive food, the usual high quality mcmenamin’s beverage options. Everything you want from a classy pub and not too much of it. 5 stars.

We enjoyed our High St. experience.
We chose a Backyard burger and the Spicy Aztec salad with a hardy serving of tater tots. Which, we paired with a pints of Purple Haze. Service was great, and the chill atmosphere made for a good time. With outdoor seating in front and out back.
