In the mood for another lobster roll. Quick search of the area, and I found McLaughlins’s Lobster, Seafood. I ordered the lobster roll with fries and coleslaw. The staff were friendly and answered any questions that I had. Food came out hot and fresh. The lobster roll came with warm butter, which was delicious! Would highly recommend it.

First came in and I was greeted with warm smiles and hellos. Felt like a regular even though it was my first time. The food is beyond fresh and taste just as such. Best Lobster Roll I’ve had and I’ve had some in different regions. So much so I ordered two. I would definitely make the trek up to Bangor, ME just to eat their food again.

Had the half pound lobster. It was sort of disappointing because the lobster was very rubbery. Tasted great but it was pretty chewy. They have very good onion rings and coleslaw. I’ll be back but I’m thinking I’ll have the clams next time. There’s an Porta John that is nasty and when someone would open the door you would get a big whiff of nastiness. Indoor plumbing would certainly help with the atmosphere.

The best Lobster Roll place in Maine, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. Our first night back in Maine, and we were arriving too late to get to McLaughlin’s. As I talked to the manager, he offered to deliver rolls to us at the airport as he traveled home for the night. Wow!!! What service! We traveled extensively throughout this area, enjoying lobster rolls as we went. None could compare to McLaughlin’s. The fries are great, too.

First good experience…this Cardinal! I was on the phone in the parking lot talking to my friend. The Cardinal flew on the hood of my car, and then my side mirror. He sat and looked for a few seconds. I’ve never been that close. I shared my experience at the counter. Apparently, he is a regular. I wasn’t as special as I’d hoped. With that said, the woman at the counter was extremely helpful and patient with my many questions. I was shipping fresh lobster to Virginia. I normally order through Goldbelly. I never will again. The price was definitely better. I moved away from Maine a few years ago. This place is EXACTLY why I’m back. I plan on making it a regular stop. The customer service is the icing on the cake!

We three, wife, our puppy and I went to this beautiful place while traveling back to Canada. Bangor was our stop for the night and we found this place on Google. The high ratings lived up to the hype. The service folks were super friendly, welcomed us three and helped in selection of menu items. We tried the lobster dinner and the seafood platter. The servings were quite huge and the food extremely tasty. Highly recommended if you’re in town and craving some tasteful seafood.

First time having lobster! While I can’t say I particularly liked it, I don’t dislike it. There was a good amount of locals about, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal. The young lady who took my order, actually came out to show me how to crack it and walked me thru the general eating of said lobster. The place was popping. Maybe 10-15 minutes for my food? And I think it only took that long cause I ordered the whole lobster. It’s definitely got an outdoor picnic vibe to it. Makes me think vacation or family gathering. Pricing looked fair for the food. Average price was between 12-23$ per entree/dish. Most came with fries with other options too. I really enjoyed my sweet potato fries. Coleslaw was very meh. It probably needed both more mayo, and salt and pepper. It needed something to help it’s overall flavor.

Great luck spot with a delicious lobster roll and good selection of seafood basket options. Good fresh selection in the store as well including shrimp fish and lobster.

Great prompt service followed by an enjoyable treat of a lobster roll. Not a bunch of other stuff , just the essentials – lobster chunks, roll, and mato-based seasoning to pull it all together. Lobster was served cool but on a warm roll. Outdoor seating has cover if it rains. But by this time of year the outside kitchen was closed, so no crowd. We ordered from the seafood counter and also bought the clay chowder. Can’t wait to try it. Glad we stopped off for this bite to eat on our way through Bangor, ME.

When its summer time, its McLaughlin’s seafood for the win. They have the best scallops, claims and lobster rolls. This is what makes summer happier.
