The food was horrible. Everything was either dried out, under cooked, or tasted like It came out of a can (metal taste). For my family it cost $75. My 3 year old only had jello, my daughter 9 had jello and 2 pieces of corn on the cob. I had a salad, 2 pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and mac and cheese. My son had 2 pieces of chicken, green beans and mac and cheese. My husband had a piece of chicken, some fish, and salad. Everything was priced individually, seriously expensive for just little portions. Won’t be back ever. It made us sick to our stomachs after eating there. We didn’t even finish our meals it was that bad. Another customer asked if the mashed potatoes were made with milk and they said they didn’t know. So those people left.

My husband and I had an early dinner at MCL a few days ago. The restaurant was immaculately clean, the buffet offerings were varied, the servers were very pleasant and attentive. The food was very good, but too high priced for frequent visits by us. For a main dish selection (we had stuffed chicken breast) and two sides (small scoop of mashed potatoes and small side of green beans) with one drink and one water was $31.56. We thought that was too much for our serve yourself meal. Do you agree?

I ate here with my elderly father who was very impressed. We had some chicken with the taste of boxed stovetop stuffing and the mouthfeel of soggy bread. I had a tiny salad with a verrrry sweet Italian dressing. He had the chicken as well and a bowl of coleslaw. $29. They had a variety of old people foods including cooked carrots, jello salad, and beets. The decor is mid 1990’s. I think this place will impress the 70+ year olds. They are going to have to update things a bit to stay relevant. I really struggled to find anything to eat there and what I did have was only borderline edible.

The people working there are absolutely amazing! The food was good for the most part but some sweets were dry and the chicken noodles were salty! If they improve some of their servings, this will be our go to place for food!

Made the selection from a cafeteria style food bar. Small portions, but thats ok, its lunch. I choose the Chicken and Noodle main dish. Mistake it was so salty. As a side I had beets and Mac and cheese. It was ok. I don’t think i need a return trip. Not that good.

I gave 4 stars because the amount of the sides was tiny. The chicken was a good portion. That leads to the price they charge to much for the tiny sides. But it was all delicious chicken crispy mashed potatoes seasoned great and string beans delicious!! Just give more please. The cherry pie was delicious omg so good.
