I’ve been coming here since I was maybe 3 or 4 years old with my family. now on my own and 21. (Actually here right now) This place is amazing! Food is always great, and not to mention what keeps me coming here is the all you can eat Catfish Fridays during Lint. They have the best darn catfish this side of the Mississippi!!! Dipped in their tartar sauce is just to die for!! So glad I came back!! And shall for the foreseeable future!!

I had a very pleasant and filling lunch at MCL while passing through the area. I ended up having chicken livers with mashed potatoes and green bean casserole. It all tasted great, and they give solid portions of each. The cafeteria setup is kind of novel nowadays, and the line moved along smoothly. The employees seem focused on keeping things going, but they did seem friendly. I should’ve tried the iced tea since that seems to be a specialty of theirs, but perhaps another time. I was happy with the place, and it seems like a good value for the money.

We had the best first-time experience at MCL! From the moment we walked in, the service was phenomenal, everyone was so kind, welcoming, and patient. Even though we had never been before, the staff made us feel completely at ease, encouraged us to take our time, and helped us get familiar with how everything worked. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and it truly felt like they cared about making our visit special. We left full, and very happy! ❤️ would highly recommend!!

I’ve often heard folks raving about the fried chicken at any number of places. Those folks have obviously never eaten at MCL. I’ve rarely left MCL after a good meal without getting MCL fried chicken to go. Best fried chicken in Indianapolis (whether on northeast side, west side or Carmel). YUM!

Please for the love of God, never eat here. The service was fine. Steve was very kind but the Food is soooo bad. No seasoning. None. Everything bland af. I got the roast beef and fried fish and green beans and mashed potatoes, a side salad and coconut cream pie came up to be able $24. I went big Bc i wanted to get a since of the spread. Just don’t waste your time. You can’t really mess up mashed potatoes those were okay with enough salt and gravy but every thing else was a big disappointment. It was suitable for the pallet of an old white couple. Every other table was old white couples and that makes sense. It’s soft, mild, lukewarm food. Unremarkable in every way. But as a young person Of color I’m used to some spice, some kick something ANYTHING INTERESTING. This ain’t it chief. My god what a waste of time and money.never again
