Honestly, $8 for a banh mi is pretty reasonable. Not too bad value for the price. Wasn’t super busy for a weekend lunch.

I will say though – some of the tables are really close to one another. Sometimes they’ll place you directly next to strangers. Not a big deal if you don’t mind that. Feels just a bit cramped in there.

My bf and I asked to sit in one of the booths since they were free, but we were told those were reserved for large parties. Totally understandable. Another party of 2 that came after us was then seated in a booth though. That felt a bit unfair. Oh well.

Ordered vietnamese coffee, we finished our meal and it still was not ready so we just ended up cancelling it.

For the price of our food and the taste, i’d probably still comeback. I’d honestly overlook some of these qualms based on the value. You can order to go on an ipad by the entrance there, so I might try that instead.

The “mor” in the name deterred us from checking it out. We thought of a large menu  to please everyone, and not dedicated to a few good dishes. 1 Thursday night, drove by, saw a short line outside, decided to find parking and tried it. About 10mins wait, Ordered 3 different types of Phở, good broth, 90% authentic, came out piping hot, decent amount of meat, could use more bean sprouts and basil to match with 3 bowls…. The price is right for the size, thou this is the only one we’ve tried thus far in the area, but can’t compare to Little Sài Gòn in Orange County. Great smiling service. We’ll be back to try out the other items…
Lively deco, but loud setting, they packed in the tables for optimal use of space, attracts college kids. Forgot to inquire for validating parking, well next time

This place is LOUD. Like 80-90 decibels. The tables are very close together for singles and doubles and I couldn’t hear the words spoken on the next table over from me a few feet away. About 2/3 of that is due to fairly loudly playing music, and 1/3 due to chatter from the restaurant being close to capacity. I ate around 7-7:30PM. The noise didn’t bother me at all, and I personally liked the music. Just thought I’d mention that first since this won’t be what everyone is looking for.

In terms of the food, it was extremely tasty and fresh and honestly VERY reasonably priced for a sit down restaurant serving quality food. I had the Thit Truong and the water they automatically bring to the table when you sit and it was only $13.50 for a plate that completely filled me up from empty. The bean sprouts, thin-sliced carrots, and lettuce tucked on the side of the plate were very fresh tasting, albeit bland. However, with the sesame oil they bring out and condiments that stay on the table I was able to get the flavor profile exactly where I wanted it. My dish wasn’t spicy at all, but very fresh and tasty.

I think this place fits very well into the neighborhood near USC as it caters to students well in terms of the music and price. And while I’m not a college student myself, I was very pleased with the experience and I do live in the neighborhood so I will definitely be back.

I came here looking for a soup to ease my sore throat. The Pho Ga was delicious and was just what i needed !! It was a good sized portion for the price and they gave a little plate with bean sprouts, jalapeño slices, lemon, and some herbs on the side. I believe you are able to add extra noodles(might be extra) which I wish I did.

Service was great! They checked up on me to see if I needed anything and we’re friendly. Ill be coming back to try other stuff too!

Overall it is good and the food is yummy. Staff should be just a little more warm and hospitable. This will perfect the restaurant experience.

The soup here was so good!!! I really like the pho here and they served a great volume, only noodle is too soft for me, it just broke easily.

Really disappointing service. I stood at the register without being acknowledged and had to ask someone about my order, even though it was already sitting ready on the counter. When I finally received it, there was no communication or basic courtesy. The whole interaction made me feel like I was bothering the staff just by being there.

Food good very tasteful. Except I wouldn’t eat here anymore. Staff is rude sadly to say. I almost walked out bc I just felt uncomfortable after the worker said I couldn’t sit at the both I’m a paying customer. Anyway. Other than that. Food and price not bad at all.

Got Pho Tai Nam for togo!
And that was such a smart choice!
The counter was nice and clean and the packing was so thoutful! I didn’t need anything else. It was packaged nice and clean.

Food was good. All the veggies were fresh and the meat was PRIME quality. Compared to other pho places, the broth is less salty here. So if you like strong flavor, add salt or Sriracha to it.

I would come back for pho n more.
