We went here because a friend recommended it. So excited to try this out we walked in and got zero acknowledgment of what to where to sit. So we just tried to figure it out. There were several tables that still had remains of the previous occupants. It appeared that they were understaffed so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and stayed. the bartender was so busy with everything else that he did his best. He was waiting on the whole place. Now to the food. Huge portions. Got the chicken quesadillas That comes with guacamole, pico and sour cream this could be shared for sure! The chicken was a bit too spicy for my wife’s liking but was good. Also ordered the 1/2 roast beef sandwich salad and soup. Which was also a good size portion and was also good. We ordered an appetizer of chips and cheese which was good and enough to share! Over all the food is decent bar food. I don’t want to seem like I need someone to hold my hand but coming into a new place to eat and not having any idea as to what to do made it uncomfortable. We tried it

First off to be fair… it was sat. Night and the place was very busy… they were understaffed but the staff was hustling. having.to wait with tables available can be understandable with what they were dealing with… but I asked for a water with my dinner after ordering a beer… to start.. he said drink more beer not water and never brought me either… when another server brought Iour food.. asked for water and never saw him again or the first until I could get my check.. I eventually had to go to my cat and bring in a water of my own… if you are going to make a smarta$$ comment and not serve your customer its not worth coming back…. as far as atmosphere.. its a bar… what you expect.. nothing wrong with that… the food was good just hard to choke down dry after a whole

Service is awful. The sign said to wait to be seated, which we did. We waited and waited and waited. Others soon entered and they also waited. Staff looked at us, but didn’t acknowledge any of us. After about 10 minutes of waiting, two guys walked in, hesitated, then walked through everyone that had been waiting. They proceeded to seat themselves at a table. A couple of minutes later, another man did the same thing and sat at the bar and was served. The two men that sat at the table were then greeted with a smile and a pat on the back. Meanwhile, the other six of us that had been waiting were ignored. Finally, my husband and I were seated. The waiter did not smile at us or apologize for the wait. Instead, he simply said, “Be patient. We’re kind of busy” and he walked away. We continued to wait for someone to acknowledge we were there by bringing us menus or asking if we wanted drinks. After no service, we walked out.

Honestly this place is a local gem. They have an extensive menu, but just about everything you order is exceptional. Prices are extremely reasonable for the great quality of the food, and the bartender Bob is always working hard and gives us top tier service every time. We walk in, he sees us, and he gets us our drinks before we have time to sit down most of the time. Also, love the music rotation ,and they are always showing music videos on the tv. Been coming here for years, and I can’t think of one negative thing to say about this place.

New Years Day, we deep cleaned the house, putting away all the Christmas decorations, and decided to get out of the house and drive around town. Most places are closed, but we found #McGregorGrill on (old) McGregor open and what a smart decision they made. The place was hopping! Several groups playing the trivia countdown on the many screens while lots of others were watching the football games.
Probably a bit of the hair of the dog, going on with the drinks, beer, and cocktails flowing.
We ordered two burgers and chicken tenders and they serve potato side several ways, I got the fresh potato chips, my son got the steak fries, and my husband got the tater tots. All delicious. Just an FYI, they have excellent sandwiches, and salads here.
#McGregorGrill is not new to us, we really like the atmosphere and the food.

This is a great local bar & grill with good food at reasonable prices. The only thing we have run into personally and heard from others is the service is sorely lacking. Every time we have gone there is one guy running around like crazy. Sure this could happen on occasion if someone called out but it’s been every time. Because of this mistakes are made, customers are left waiting. I really want to like the place and the regulars clearly do but they need to hire some wait staff.

Been coming here for over a decade. Being slow isn’t unexpected during season, but being ignored by all the staff while standing at the “wait to be seated sign” for 20 min before anyone acknowledged me was shocking. Then when I asked to sit outside as it’s too loud and warm inside I was told “No problem but it’ll be a while before we get to you. Who’s next?”…wow. Another 20 min waiting outside and nothing. No menu, no silverware, no drink order. The other guests seated outside hadn’t had service since I’d walked in at 5:40 and when I got up at 6:20 still nothing. Went inside and let the guy at the register know that due to them ignoring their seated outside customers, we’d be leaving. He shrugged and said “ok”.
I’ve never seen such horrible service here before and am shocked the owners would stand for this as they’re good people and friendly. I hate to say it but this little community bar and grill isn’t worth one’s time anymore. Friendlier and more attentive staff at a fast food drive through.

The food was great, you just need to be patient cuz they’re busy and don’t have a lot of staff. Prices are lower than elsewhere. I had a 12 oz ribeye that they did a wonderful job cooking medium rare.
