Normally this location is hit or miss at best, falling somewhere between mediocre and disappointing. Today it was the latter, when one of your items is supposed to be with no sauce and all it comes with is sauce and no lettuce but most of the sauce barely made it on the burger, you gotta question if the workers even have a basic understanding of reading an order, or care. To top it off the Grinch meals didn’t even come with the socks and I question if it’s even with my time to drive back to the other end of town. It’s a good thing they even have a drive thru.

Visited around 9 p.m. last night. I have over 10 years of food service experience, so I try to be understanding, but this visit was frustrating.
We waited more than 10 minutes in the drive-thru, and the car ahead of us appeared to be waiting even longer. When I asked what was going on, an employee mentioned they were short-staffed. I completely understand that happens, but clear communication and urgency go a long way.
While we were at the window, one employee delivered the food while another stood nearby and stared at us without saying anything, which felt uncomfortable. I also noticed a manager in the back working on a clipboard. During a rush, it might help if management can step in to support the front line, even briefly.
Earlier, I had gone inside to use the washroom and saw several staff members present. In my own experience running night shifts with fewer people, we still prioritized keeping orders moving, communicating delays, and pulling cars ahead when possible so others didn’t have to wait.
Unfortunately, by the time we got home, both my son’s food and mine were cold, which added to the disappointment.
I know how hard these jobs can be, and I’m not expecting perfection. I just hope the team can focus a bit more on communication, teamwork, and customer care during busy times.
For comparison, I’ve had consistently great experiences with the Trenton location — fast, friendly, and organized.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this McDonald’s.
The staff here are consistently professional, friendly, and genuinely personable. You don’t feel rushed or treated like just another car in the drive-thru. They actually care, and it shows.
They go the extra mile with service. Little things matter, and they nail them. For example, they don’t hand you your coffee by gripping the lid where you drink from after handling cash. That attention to hygiene is rare and seriously appreciated.
What really sealed it for me was when they knew my regular order and even wrote my name down. That’s next-level customer service. Absolute chef’s kiss.
This location sets the standard for how fast food should be done. Keep doing what you’re doing. It doesn’t go unnoticed. ❤️

This was my second time ordering poutine, and the wait was longer than usual again. There was no one at the window to acknowledge or greet customers during the delay. When we asked about the wait, we were told the store was short-staffed.
I understand things can get busy, but a quick update or acknowledgment would have helped. We tried to ask for an ETA, but there was no response from the window.

Waited in the extra parking because spaces with 2 other vehicle because they were ‘busy’ then proceeded to watch 3 vehicles behind us get served and pull out and leave. Then our food was brought our to us after a 10 minute wait. You would think they would have figured out by now how to prep for dinner rush. I’m pretty sure it’s not their first day open.

Do you want to wait the same length as a real restaurant, to be served 1 cheeseburger? You found the right mcdonalds franchise. You could order from here, leave, go to your doctor appointment, finish your grocery shopping and do all your chores and your meal would still be in the process of being made.

Last Sat we took grandkids there for lunch. The two burgers and the one filet o’fish looked like they were assembled by a four year old. As well they were tasteless and no one finished theirs. Quality has gone down considerably at this location. You’ll never get a response from management. McDonald’s was never a luxury meal, but this location takes it to a new low.

Arrived in drive thru with mobile order at 8:52 AM on Friday December 19th, did not get my food until 9:10pm, and it was only two items, was asked to move to the spot and wait because “the hashbrowns weren’t ready” and watched cars still at window fly through getting multiple bags of food in some cases while I sat and waited for 10+ minutes, whoever is managing this McDonald’s has absolutely no clue what they are doing, will never get breakfast here again.
