I usually don’t take the time to review but today’s experience is worth the time. I visited today with my family and placed an order for breakfast. The order was placed at 9:23am. We didn’t receive the food into past 10:10am. Over a forty minute wait for a place that’s supposed to serve fast food. We weren’t the only customers waiting in the lobby and while I do understand if the restaurant was short staffed there could have been better communication of the situation. I went to the counter three times. The first because my order wasn’t on the screen and I wanted to make sure they’d received it. A gentleman assured me they had. I went after another ten to fifteen minutes to ask for status. A worker said it would be five more minutes which turned into twenty more minutes. All I have to say is that if you wish for fast service then the drive through would definitely be better or save yourself the hassle and go to another location.

I’m going to assume it’s under new management. Eventhough this is the 61st McDonald’s, I remember on multiple occasions that the McDonald’s on Steward Beach (When it came to curbside orders, if you were walking with your dog(s), and thus didn’t have a car, you could order from curbside and it wouldn’t be a problem. I remember a Dog Trainer with multiple dogs would do this.)

I only picked one star because you can’t leave a review unless you do. My opinion and a lot of decent people’s opinions are. Minus 100 stars. The only good reviews are from people who work there or are their relatives. The rudest ,non customer responsive people. They only work on drive thru orders and if they have time they wait on inside customers. And if you ask them about the order you placed an hour ago they can’t be bothered with that. Fire them all and get responsible hard working people person type people. I’m sure all the customers you get are definitely not repeat customers. Needs to be completely shut down. Total disgrace to the good business people of Galveston.

This is the slowest McDonald’s around. The staff completely ignores you & when they do finally acknowledge you, they’re usually very rude. I understand being busy, I get that. But at least acknowledge the customers & say, “I’ll be with you as soon as I can”. Communication is key to everything in every industry. The customers don’t know if you are even aware that they’re their or not. Just by acknowledging people, they will be a lot more sympathetic to you when you are super busy.

The hispanic girl with the glasses and that one manager with the short hair are the most unprofessional, inconsiderate, nasty people I have met. I’m surprised they hired them honestly. First I told them I had a mobile order. Apparently they closed early that night. Even though I had ordered way before they were expected to close. They refused to serve me or give me my refund. Tried multiple times to let them know i at least needed that if I were not to get my food. They ignored, laughed and walked away. Ridiculous. Don’t go to this McDonald’s. I grew up in galveston and even that was too ghetto
