I normally go through drive through but today I opted to go in. I’m doing lots of negative reviews but I’m not sure where they are coming from. Every order I’ve done has been accurate, handled respectfully and swiftly.
Now my accent is from up North so I’ve been under the impression it does seem to help keep things clear as most automated systems are programmed to sound like north Midwestern, so it’s a more familiar accent.
Now, I have to say being in store versus drive through can be a very different experience for some and this has been one exceptional one. The manager is on point helping his team, loading ice for the soda, and super friendly. Greeting regulars by first name, switching between Spanish and English fluently depending on the customer’s chosen language. I think thats something I love most about being in Texas. The language fluidity feels so much more like Europe.
Super clean, very friendly, cohesive staff. The only guess I have for not experiencing the difficulties others have is I come for breakfast only. I wish every shop was like this one in the morning. (Photos taken with intention to NOT show the customers in store)

I came to McDonald’s with my daughter to get a happy meal for the Minecraft themed toy. A burger, fries, 1% milk, and apple slices runs $3.99 plus tax, which is shockingly high for the tiny quantity and poor quality of food. The “toy” was the most disappointing part. In the case of the Minecraft series, there are 12 total. Six are actually toys, like a Creeper, or a Bee. But the other six are plastic cubes that fold into flat “terrain” for the other toys to play on. Lame! It would be bad enough if you had a 1 in 6 shot of getting the cool or desirable toy, but fully half of them are absolute garbage that wouldn’t be sellable at a dollar store.
But let’s say the toy is free and just review the food. The fries came in such a small package it would be cute if it wasn’t food I had spent money on. The “burger” was sad, even for a kid’s burger. One pickle slice!
Overall, really bad experience. Even for fast food burgers, you can do much better elsewhere. McTerrible!

Robert went above and beyond to make sure I could get the best deal on my order. I appreciate how he made the adjustment and explained to me the current offer available. He was quick and helpful. He didn’t have to do any of that and he didn’t hold up the drive through even for a second. He is the example of a good customer service experience. That really made my night. Thanks Robert.

To anyone reading this. I have to say this has been the best McDonald’s I have ever been to. Yes I understand it’s McDonald’s but don’t sit there and tell me that when yourself or family and friends, loved ones have been hungry who was there for you. No matter the time day or night. All by the Grace of God. McDonald’s. For decades this one has been here and by far Mr. Roman and Mr. Robert are extraordinary. They have phenomenal customer service and I have personally seen them go above and beyond for customers just like myself. Their aurora speaks volumes. For my order I get a large fry and unsweetened tea typically and take my lunch break at times here. Something simple to keep me going throughout the day. Great atmosphere and absolutely great energy with this team here. I highly recommend this McDonald’s location.

They don’t respect Jewish customs here as a simple mistake occurred in which they could’ve fixed when I ordered a sandwich. I came back around through the drive-through to get the proper sandwich when I informed them that it was important that I needed to make sure they did not put the Canadian bacon on my egg McMuffin. The lady confirmed it said OK and then brought me back a sandwich with bacon. I gave her the sandwich back and told her that I cannot eat pork and I please needed a sandwich with no bacon so she brought that sandwich smothered pork grease back to me after removing the pork and ask them to make me a fresh sandwich and they refused so I asked for a refund. If they cannot respect Jewish customs I will no longer be eating there.

Update Delivery drivers have to stand outside the front door and ring the bell to pick up deliveries even at 1:30 and at 2am when business is closed.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your establishment. I ordered two double cheeseburgers (nothing else) and presented a coupon for “buy one get one free on any sandwich.” The lady at the window refused to accept my coupon, incorrectly stating that “it was for only Big Macs and quarters pounders only” I said no it’s a receipt coupon for buy on get one any sandwich” then she tried saying ” no it’s buy one get one for $1″ while refusing to even look at my coupon. Then she said well even if it’s that it’ll be 24.39 and kept insisting that the total would be $24.39.
This situation was highly frustrating as I had never encountered such a discrepancy before. According to the coupon and if I would’ve ordered through the app, the total should have been $3.24. I have no idea how she could’ve possibly come up with $24.39. My family and I were left hungry and disappointed due to this issue.
I kindly request that you address this matter and ensure that such misunderstandings do not occur in the future. Thank you for your attention to this issue.
