I tried to use my app today but it’s been doing this thing where I give the cashier my code, the system tells the cashier my code is invalid, the cashier will ask me to get a different code, and then my app will say “you already used this code”. When it happened to me today I asked the cashier how I can fix this? I have deleted the app and redownloaded it, nothing. I asked very politely and calmly. She said “no, nothing I can do for you “. I politely asked for a manager that could possibly help, “I am the manger. Have a nice day” I was shocked! This was all over the intercom, I hadn’t even seen anyone yet! Not only was she not willing to help me, now she was telling me to leave?!? I was very nicely asking for help! And I would have bought food without my app if we couldn’t have made it work! It is absolutely mind-boggling to me when these 20 something-year-old managers are met with a polite customer who has an issue and the manager is more rude to the customer. I am a store manager in a retail environment. I understand how retail workers are mistreated. I was not rude to this worker. I was very calmly speaking, using the word please, and was only asking for help. And instead of getting me help or trying to solve the situation, this young manager was rude and turned me away, made their store miss out on a sale. As a store manager myself I would be very disappointed to hear my manager/team made us not only lose a sale but a customer all because she didn’t want to offer any kind of help or try anything to fix the situation. Instead she was rude, told me there was nothing she can do for me, and turned me away. Bad business.

Waited in mobile order spot for 25 mins I had to go thru drive thru and ask them why it taking so long and he said sorry its here I got it drive back over there n I’ll bring it to you. Anyways it taste like the food sat there for 20 mins it was cold and so old I’m never coming back so gross. It’s a suppose to be FAST food place

Very disappointing experience. I placed a large order and one of the employees got upset and insulted me because the order was big. This is unacceptable customer service. Customers should be treated with respect regardless of the order size. I hope the management takes this seriously and trains their staff to behave professionally.

It has become extremely clear since new management took over this establishment a few months ago. The staff have become rude and disrespectful to customers. I used to come to this particular location because the workers were kind and I always got hot fresh food that was correct. The manager on duty today was extremely rude to me for no reason. And if you go back and read other reviews as of recently, you’ll see the same pattern. Do better McDonald’s. Is anybody even reading these reviews?

I bought 2 burgers and fries and chicken nuggets for my kids and they forgot one cheeseburger. I only called to let them nicely and see if they could deliver it to us because it’s late we like like 15 minutes away. My kids are hungry and they asked for McDonald’s a week ago and so I called. This guy was very rude and we did NOT get a apology. They have disappointed us and he had a attitude about it. Very disappointing also he was petty and he showed a very bad image to this place so dont go to this location.

I saw AfricanAmerican smoking vape inside McDonald when he walk in back room which I have no pic And manager cigs in the hand inside McDonald I had videos when he screaming at us so I have pictures .
White guy who is managers here screaming at customers says “I’m going to call police “ .
Other AfricanAmerican have bad attitude.
I had bad experience here.
One day this place might get worse and be on the news I hope McDonald fix this matters before someone gets hurt.
What happened on Oct 19, 2025 after evening .
I walked in alone and used screen to order food and I paid . And there’s no receipt so I went to employee and said excuse me but he saw me ignored and other customers called employees for me . And AfricanAmerican came over and had bad attitude and loudly said “what? “ I felt uncomfortable that time so I decided to talk with manager so i thought I feel comfortable for asking receipt, and i explained how AfricanAmerican made me uncomfortable and white guy who is manager he had an terrible attitude saying that “whatever “ and trying to walk away already and I said if I have no receipt I don’t know what is order number is . But he walked away and ignored and start yelling at me . So I called my husband from parking lot outside and he was nice and saying can I talk with you but manager already screaming and yelling at my husband saying he will call police on us and my husband who just showed up nicely never got to spoke with employees .. and African American same time telling us to leave or if you not ordering food .
same time AfricanAmerican who was rude earlier he changed his attitude in good way and gave me receipts and we got food .
this place is mess and employees and managers are mess . I feel like someone will get hurts in future if McDonald doesn’t fix this mess.
I’m waiting for feedback from McDonald .
I saw some customers taking videos of this situation I hope it’s going to Social Media so everyone can see how mess is employees and managers.
Also they don’t wanna give away their name . But McDonald said they have to give away their name when customers are asking for employees name.
I’ll update this post ones I get feedback from McDonald.

Also McDonald district managers but it depends on restaurants if customers ask employees for phone numbers of district manager they have to give to customers. again it depends on restaurant.

The drive thru staff is consistently fast and our orders are correct everytime! You can’t ask for more than that out of a McDonald’s other than lowering their prices across the board at all McDonald’s.

Probably one of the most garbage McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I ordered a big Mac meal and nuggets. I got soggy fries 1 of the 2 nuggets I ordered and no big Mac in sight. Why did we push for food workers to get higher wages if they can’t even show our orders the smallest courtesy? Your job isn’t hard but everyone deserves a livable wage. That doesn’t mean you can just treat us like we aren’t paying customers. Just trash

I am never disappointed at this McD’s. The staff is always friendly, the fries are always hot, they always get my order perfect, and if I’m having an otherwise imperfect day…they make me feel like something in the world is predictable and on point

Overall the food at this location (Columbia Heights, MN) is consistently good. We’ve had a few customer service issues and wrong items…but most often they’ve cleared them up by having us get a free meal on our next visit. I always use the app when I go to McDonald’s…I wish they would (and this is a corporate thing) allow you to use an arch card when ordering online….the only method is a debit or credit card.
