I went recently with my diabetic sister who asked for a diet coke with no ice, easy right? Especially because we saw that it was put on the order board correctly. Got the cup half full of ice, annoying but can be fixed. Asked the employee to fix it and she scoffed and took it back, and handed us coke. Just regular coke, which could’ve thrown her sugars way off, terrifying to imagine with my infant in the vehicle. Tole the manager, who brushed it off as most likely an accident. Possible? Sure, but the same girl making a diet coke with ice, and then a regular coke without ice? Unlikely, when she knew what it was supposed to be.
Main concern is why there is almost no customer service in McDonald’s anymore. They utilize kiosks so you can order food yourself, which is interesting as I would find that to be a last-resort deal when there is a line. But no, nobody was at the register and it was kinda odd to walk in without seeing someone in uniform looking your direction.
Do what you need to do obviously, just found that weird.
Another thing I noticed was that the tables in the restaurant were dirty as a whole. I understand if you are understaffed or too busy to deal with that, but they had plently of staff and it was relatively slow.
Could’ve been better, not a big deal.
