The entire time we were here. It looks like the manager on shift. Was yelling at A trainee it seems. Made the atmosphere very unwelcoming. I feel very bad for the person that she was yelling at. Was so close to saying something.

Food is gross. Place was dirty from bathrooms to dinning area. Workers were not pleasant and obviously lazy. Go across the street to kwik trip for food they are great.

We came in at 1245 on a Saturday after camping at Gov. Dodge state park, hungry and tired. We were going for a nice lunch before heading back a 3 hour drive home.
We noticed right away, there was gross leftover food, and litter all over the floor, and most of the tables were covered in garbage, and not wiped off, if they were empty of trash.
We waited over 30 minutes for our small orders of food, after ordering on the inside kiosk. The place was FILTHY, food and garbage on floors and tables. Nothing was washed off, or swept. When I brought the untimliness of the food coming, up to the manager, she mentioned ” this is a Saturday and its busy”. She didn’t apologize or mention that the would try to get it done soon. My partner mentioned that there were 7 or 8 cars that had gone through, so obviously they were prioritizing drive through service food, and not counter food.
What angered me was the fact that 4 other counter orders were filled, of people who had come in behind us, some of which were larger orders than ours, and our order was not done. I mentioned that, and said that was not ok, and the manager brushed me off.
When we did get our small order of 2 double cheeseburgers, 2 of the 4 piece nuggets, and 2 small fries, my double cheeseburger was not even made correctly. I brought it back up to the counter, and the girl who brought our food out, came over. I explained what happened, and she took the sandwich back, and ( I guess fixed it) , it was not re made, but lettuce and pickles were just thrown on to it.
She brought it back. I mentioned to that manager that we had waited, over 30 minutes, and then the food was not even warm or made correctly. She said ” well, that’s why I refunded you”. I asked her ” you did? We weren’t told that”. She said ” the money is in a small bag on the tray with a receipt in it”.
I said we didn’t even look at that bag, and it would have ended up in the garbage, if you had not told us that.
She then rudely replied ” well it’s there”.
I went back to look, and there was cash in the bag, but no receipt.
We checked how much the food and tax, plus our ( round up donation) was, and it was $17.00 even.
The change we got in cash in the bag, was $14.77.
Even with the donation taken out, it should have not been that amount of money. So, not only do the managers not take responsibility for their lack of action on orders, and bad customer service, and horrible dirty restaurant conditions, they also cannot COUNT.
This is a place I DO NOT recommend. If you have eaten here, and encountered the gross conditions, I recommend contacting the McDonald’s corporate office.
I will be doing so, and making a formal complaint about this location in Dodgeville, WI.

They miss items, things are cold or stale, and items are prepared wrong.
