This is my favorite McDonald’s in the Grand Rapids area and has been for decades.
– Quarter Pounder Meal – $9.79: Looked small, but was heavy and delicious for McDonald’s. It was cooked right. I ordered it without pickle and it came that way. It was filling.
– Fries (comes with the meal): My favorite restaurant chain fries. The first few were cold, but the rest were warm and delicious. Cooked just right.
– Medium Chocolate Shake – $2.10 (extra): This has changed over the years. I did not ask for the whipped topping and I assumed they started doing this at some point which is cool. The flavor was a bit more chocolate-y than I remembered it.
– Happy Meal (4 piece nugget and fries) – $4.69: My son had it and it is about what you’d expect.
– Service: I ordered at the counter and she was courteous. She got the order right and it was brought out fairly quickly. It wasn’t terribly busy, but it was over a holiday weekend.
– Atmosphere: Very clean, organized, and modernized. It has been remodeled since the last time I visited a decade or so ago. They still have a playplace (playground) with light up tables to sit and eat at in the playplace area. They have various tables, chairs, booths, benches, high tables, and so on.
– Conclusion: Still my favorite in the area.

Nothing exceptional. I grew up in the area. Now that I am away it seems isolated with the set up. They never fix anything broken. The menu in the drive thru has been broken past a year. The inside monitor is broken too. Not sure what the deal is here.

This is the best mcd’s in likely a
10 mile radius. Definitely the fastest time after time they keep cars moving with rarely EVER pulling aside. Maybe once in 15 yrs. Food is usually fresh given that it’s fast food. I never go to Mcd w/o my app. It’s more reasonable in price by far.

I am not the type of person to leave bad reviews but I ordered my food 10 minutes before breakfast ended which I usually wouldn’t do but I get to the window at 10:58(on a Saturday) and it takes the lady 3 minutes to even say anything but I waited because I am a patient person She finally talks to me at 11:01 and I gave her my code and she says she can’t ring it in because it’s past 11. I told her I already paid and placed my order 10 minutes ago, but she said she still couldn’t process it because I didn’t get there before 11… which I did.. do better I guess? Stop chatting with your friends in the back and take someone’s order when they get to the screen?? I had to just refund my order myself (she said it should have charged me but the money was ALREADY taken out of my account..)

I love McDonald’s.
I made 2 orders on a Thursday night around 2130 hours. First order was the filet of fish and that was delivered out to my car and under 4 minutes. I was definitely impressed and wanted another but decided to get an ice cream cone instead. Second order was that ice cream cone and I waited almost 30 minutes for that to be brought out to my car after the order through the McDonald’s app was submitted. I was not impressed with the wait with the second order! The young man who brought it out was certainly polite, professional, and courteous. However, he said nothing of the near 30 minute wait for an ice cream cone.
Decide what you want.

Rude person handing out food. She made the mistake and then continued to be rude. When she insisted I was wrong and we verified the receipt, She was wrong. Continued to be rude, even after her mistake. She has been there for a while and always carries and attitude. I believe her sister is the cashier in drive thru and she is always the sweetest lady.

No toys in the happy meals. No ketchup packets, cups or ketchup in the pump. Playland was filthy and there were ants all over the floor. Every table was dirty. I got the same crispy chicken sandwich I’ve gotten for years and it was really rubbery. The drink fountain counter was unbelievably gross. There were fries all over the floor in the dining room and even in the entryway between the doors. I was shocked because we chose this specific McDonald’s because when I came a few weeks back it was so clean and I even let the manager know. Today he was on his phone at the front counter when we walked in. Really disappointed! I hope they put a lot more effort into the cleanliness of this location because it’s really a nice location and my kids love the playland!

I gave it a 4 mostly because the parking area had not been plowed asks it was difficult to get to the door; I know that it’s MI in December, but get the lot plowed before the snow gets deep and frozen, icy mess. Otherwise, nothing negative on the experience.

This is by far the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. Poor quality food and even less quality service.
If you go during a major meal time, it’s passable, but any other time, slow service, poorly made food, and employees that look so dejected, it legitimately makes me feel bad to ask them to do their jobs.
Orders are regularly incorrect, I have sat in front of the drive through for over 5 minutes with no one else there and not even gotten something as courteous as ‘please hold’. It’s like they intentionally ignore you in the hopes they don’t have to serve you.
Literally go to any other place for a better experience. This restaurant has single handedly made me stop going to McDonald’s if I can help it

I had an online order while they were SUPER BUSY during lunch rush. I was so impressed with the quality and accuracy of my order. Staff was very friendly for being so busy!!
