The service was attentive and very friendly. We enjoyed our meal in comfort! The decorations were clean. Going at a weekday lunch is very relaxed with limited customers.
Note the sauce bar is extra $3/person. Soup is also extra per person. The sauce bar includes desserts so it’s worth it if you’re looking for fruits, appetizers and dessert.
The broth options were incredibly flavorful (the original lamb broth is a must-try!), and the ingredients were fresh, high quality, and generously portioned. I loved the variety—thinly sliced meats, seafood, mushrooms, tofu, and a ton of fresh veggies. Plus, the sauce bar lets you customize everything to your liking, which adds to the fun and flavor.
The restaurant was clean and had a cozy, welcoming vibe—perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a more intimate meal. It’s a great spot whether you’re new to hot pot or a longtime fan.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hearty, interactive, and satisfying meal. Will definitely be coming back!
For newcomers, the AYCE prime option is definitely worth it.
Super disappointing experience. I’m a regular at Happy Lamb and have visited many times, but today’s visit for my mom’s birthday was really frustrating.
We came during happy hour (which advertises $5 off), and the server told us we couldn’t combine the happy hour discount with the birthday discount. I couldn’t find that policy stated anywhere, which felt unfair and misleading.
On top of that, there were extra charges that made the pricing feel excessive — $4 for the salad bar and $2 per person for soup. At a hot pot restaurant, it’s odd to charge separately for soup-related items. All the added fees on top of the base price made the whole experience feel unreasonable and honestly a bit like a scam.
I even had to pay an extra $10 just because I wanted a separate pot from the rest of the party, which was never clearly explained beforehand. That alone already felt excessive.
Service was also the worst I’ve experienced here. We visited during a non-peak time, yet it still took about 11 minutes to receive our first round of meat. We were told we could only order every 15–20 minutes, and when I tried to ask for items in between, the servers were dismissive, told me to just use the tablet, and then continued to ignore us. Vegetables came out quickly, but they were noticeably slow and stingy with meat portions, which felt petty.
Overall, the pricing policies were unclear, the extra fees kept adding up, and the service was cold and unhelpful — especially disappointing for a birthday celebration. Will I visit again? No. Will I recommend it? Absolutely not.

Jacky was incredibly kind and professional. Both the hot pot and salad bar were good, but to be honest, I preferred the Seattle location. It’s larger, has a better salad bar, and the service there was noticeably quicker. While the servers here were attentive, the food took quite a while to arrive, and a few items were forgotten, so I had to reorder them.
