Huge shoutout to the McDonald’s on Wilmington Pike!!
We swung through today for lunch and it was absolutely slammed… but you would’ve never known it by how calm, sweet, and efficient the young lady at the drive-thru was. She made sure our order was exact, read it back patiently, and treated us like we were the only car in line.
When we pulled forward to wait in a space for a few minutes, KK brought our order out with a smile and actually asked if she could stand there long enough to make sure we received everything correctly. I honestly don’t see that level of care at most fast-food locations these days… and the order was PERFECT.
This store is doing it right. These employees deserve recognition, especially KK.
And please, from The Clarks, wish her little girl a very Happy Early Birthday!

Pains me to leave this review as this is my local location. I work across the street and this has gotten worse and worse. Today had to finally take pics and show what I have been getting the past month. Forst bite this sandwich is hard as rock and burnt. Nobody was in line at all at the location.

Went to McDonald’s to get happy meal because I’m a man child and it’s Nina turtles. Been waiting for like 20min for a HAPPY MEAL. Asked staff why happy meal is taking longer than some child births . Was told they were short staffed and that’s why it takes them longer to make a happy meal than it did to figure out Apollo 13s rescue plan. Maybe you should change your sign to say “short staffed, long waits” Instead of “ We are open come see us”. Zero stars

Went in to order my food on the computer thing because there was noone at the front and when I yell back they did not day anything someone look at me so I just went ahead and did my order on there and the card would work on it so yell back again then someone came up and help me and I paid for my order with the same card I try and it work. Then I sat there for 40mins to get my food and still nothing and there was only 1 person there that order before me. And they were just waiting on drive thru orders and doordash orders. And also there was some worker just standing around not doing anything so 45 mins in when I put my order in I yell back and ask for a refund. And the guy ack like he did not know how to give refunds at all. Took him forever. Then I just left and had go somewhere else to eat. And my kids were upset because they love mcdonald’s but there allways something with this mcdonald’s. Take for ever get orders or food wrong all the time. And sometimes they are not nices. I will not be back.

Hello! I came through the drive through just a few minutes ago and ordered a mcflurry with super extra m&Ms. After having the most horrendous DoorDash order I was determined to get some ice cream and when I tell you y’all put so many m&ms! Truly cheered me up and the staff working were all wonderful. I came through around 1:30 am for a late night snack, and the young man at the speaker was very sweet and laughed with me about my extra m&Ms! And whoever made it, It was truly everything I wanted for my ice cream fix. Made my night, I really appreciated your late night services!!

Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant before.
Got in line for the drive-thru, and waited for abour 20 minutes. Total silence, not a single word from the intercom. I ended up calling the phone for the restaurant, and 5 minutes later they finally take my order. Mind you, the whole time this is happening a massive line is building up behind me.
After already sitting at the intercom for 25 minutes, I then wait another 30 in the line for my food. I spent about an hour trying to pick up my mobile order. Never going here again, the employees have no idea what’s going on.

My pickup order not put on the shelf. Waited for 10 minutes in the lobby. Finally flagged someone down who said she called my name but I wasn’t there. Given a cold sandwich with a rock hard bun. Should have at least offered to remake but I was dismissed and blamed for having to wait for 10 minutes to be helped.

The new remodel this McDonald’s location recently had is very impersonal. I understand they are going for more automation but if they are going to seclude themselves from their customers they should make simple staples like condiments and napkins available. I stood at the counter for over 5 minutes being completely ignored because I wanted 1 ketchup packet and a few extra napkins while my food was sitting getting cold. Do better!

Waited 15 minutes for some help at service counter. New remodel is a joke can’t get help when need it. When I finally got someone’s attention I got an attitude from her, so I said I’ll just go somewhere else to which she proceeded to flip me the bird. Awesome job. I’ll never go back again.

We placed an order through the app and made it for curbside pickup. Yes, they were VERY busy, so we sat patiently in spot 2 for over 30 minutes waiting. When we finally called to see where our food was, she said we’re working on it as fast as we can, we said ok, but 30 minutes? She said you can go somewhere else and laughed!! Needless to say we went in to discuss this with the manager!! Our food was ready and waiting that whole time, and now cold.
