But, something happened in the last decade or so– the bottom line became their sole pursuit while leaving the soul of the business on the floor- customer satisfaction no longer matters. We’re a commodity & so are our children.
McDonald’s used to be a fun place that kids looked forward to visiting.
Now- its a soulless organization where you order thru an app & do everything but cook your own food and pay for the “privilege”. God help you if there’s a problem because you won’t find a human being.
I DESPISE going to any McDonald’s because its a microcosm of what’s wrong with America: Profits over people every time.
Even the restaurants started looking like soulless counting houses instead of a family friendly place to be.
Frankly, that’s how they make their customers feel these days.
I am out making deliveries, and bathrooms are few and far between.
I had already placed a mobile order, so I was stuck.
Now I won’t have time to eat, and drive somewhere else to use the bathroom.

It’s a random thing, and you understand , but it leaves you weary about spending your lunch break there with possibly no bathroom.
Ordered breakfast on the mobile app at 10:25, got to the window and they refused to fulfill my order and told me I could only have the apple slices I said just refund me then. She told me I needed to cancel it in app but it does not let me due to it saying it’s already being prepared. They have me pull up to the next window to talk to a manager and I have the same conversation with someone else but she says I can have apples and hash browns I say that doesn’t give me the rest of my money back can you just refund me for the missing food. They tell me to go to the third window and the SAME lady pops up and tells me i have to cancel it in app I say for the tenth time that I cannot do that and she tells me I have to come inside to talk to the GM and she is “sitting at a table right here just come inside” I say I have an infant and a two year old in the car I can’t do that and she says sorry I don’t know. Y’all mess up and expect me to drag my kids inside in the freezing cold to beg for my money back when you can’t fulfill the order? Crazy.

Today 2/4/2026, I was at the speaker. The Caucasian male “are you using the mobile app sir”, I said “say what”. He said “ are you using the mobile app sir”. He can see me clear on the screen and still chose to call me a man. I then said “did you just call me a sir”? He then proceeds with asking me what I would have. I came to the window and he didn’t apologize due it being intentional. I know it was intentional because he didn’t call the Caucasian male in front or the Caucasian male behind me a sir. The child working there has a problem. The guy was at the 2nd window with black glasses. Being racist as a child is taught and it’s dangerous. Hartsville TN.
