As a truck driver who travels the country and values respectful service, I was deeply disappointed by my recent experience at this McDonald’s location. I asked for two extra barbecue sauces, and instead of assisting me, the employee refused and went to get the manager over something as simple as sauce.
When the manager came, she offered me one sauce and insisted on charging $0.32 for the second. The frustrating part wasn’t the charge it was the way it was handled. There were approximately $0.85 in coins sitting right next to the register, clearly available to cover the cost. And according to the staff member, the sauce was only $0.25 last week. It felt like a petty escalation for no good reason.
What bothered me most was the sense of being treated differently. I was the only dark skinned person in the building, and the initial employee wouldn’t even attempt to assist me herself. As someone who holds respect and integrity in high regard, I felt disrespected and unwelcome. I ended up cutting my meal short, packing it up, and leaving.
In today’s world, where it’s already hard to know who’s preparing your food or how you’ll be treated on the road, this experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. If I never come back to West Virginia, this visit will be one of the reasons why.

I placed an order there and they didn’t give me my food and lied about having my order. Kept by money and food. Now I have to go hungry tonight because they want to keep my stuff when I asked for the mangers name she refused to give me her name so I will be getting here fired.

This place is consistently bad.
From orders constantly being wrong in both drive thru and dine in, to never and i mean NEVER having an employee at the counter. The lines always long because it takes forever and you might not even get what was ordered. Their little machine inside also just didnt print a reciept so i had no idea what my order was and no one was even coming near the register when i stood there. The only time someone came out of the back was to call out an order. But how do we get an order with no number because the reciept didnt print?? 0 Service skills from the workers either. Some other people in the lobby were also complaining about not getting their order. This place is a mess and its very unfriendly. Youre not even allowed to really dine in. It has a time limit. Theres no concession stand or drink machine for refills etc, or napkins or sauces or utensils, so if your bag is missing any of that then youre out of luck because as i said, workers actively hide from the front counter. So no utensils or straws for you unless you want to wait god knows how long to get a straw. Theyre consistent in messing up orders but as said, theyre such a hassle to even get a worker that youll have to accept the wrong order. This place is an absolute mess. DONT eat here!!

I’m pissed because they hardly ever pay attention to the orders. Once I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers and I received buns and cheese no burgers. Today I ordered breakfast burritos with mild picante and they decided I didn’t need picante. I’m furious right now so I’m not going back to McDonald’s for picante.
