This place is ridiculous, stopped for three value meals, simple orders, the two dbl qtr pounder meals had one patty and were made incorrectly. Requested they fix it and then food was missing. Drinks were so full that they spilled in the car. This isn’t unusual as my order is incorrect almost every time that I stop for food. Considering the cost is comparable to a meal from a non fast food restaurant, I’d expect better service and better quality. I’m fairly certain no one’s mistakes are being corrected because there is no improvement in the service week after week!

This McDonald’s has always had problems—everything from long wait times to staffing issues, old food, and an unsanitary lobby and bathrooms. I hardly ever leave reviews, but after my recent visit in December, I hope changes can be made.
I have never been to this McDonald’s and received a correct order—not once. My last experience was by far the worst. I went inside to order, hoping that ordering in person might help ensure accuracy. After standing at the counter without receiving any help, I resorted to using the kiosk. I entered my order—nothing complicated, just a small order for two people. Of course, the kiosk was out of paper, so I didn’t receive a receipt or order number.
When I told the employee what my order was, she handed me a bag and said, “This is it.” Trusting that it was correct, and with my hands full carrying drinks and the bag, I failed to check the order myself—that part is on me. I then drove home.
Out of the few items I ordered, I received less than half. I know it was supposed to be my order because the receipt on the bag matched exactly what I had ordered. I understand that people have bad days and that mistakes happen, but when problems like this are consistent, major changes need to be made.
Either the staff needs to be completely retrained, or leadership needs to be changed. I used to live in Pennington, and this is not a new issue—it has been going on for years and has clearly continued to worsen.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Your order is never right….maybe 1 out of 10 times. They forget something, don’t make it the way you want or just give you someone else’s order all together. This is drive thru experience only…I never go in unless I have time to check the bag before leaving and find it’s wrong. Most of the time you don’t notice until you get home. Today I went through the drive thru….order was wrong so I went in….gave me another bag that was supposed to be correct….had to go in a second time because they left part of the order off. This is ridiculous! Never going back!

I work at McDonalds in wise and they r better than this one. I just went through and got a Big Mac the bun is old it’s been sitting for a while the cheese is old on it it’s been sitting out for too long. The lady that took the order kept messing up the order and I had to tell her to fix it. I’m not being mean but they need to get better people in there.

Services were terrible, went through drive thru, woman I paid hardly looked up, no thank you, nothing, just handed my receipt and card back, shut the window. The girl hands my food, never says a word! When I get home there is no sauces whatsoever in the bag. Am I surprised? No. It is clear on the receipt I asked for them. Another thing I noticed on receipt is there is a “drink upcharge” what the crap is that? Does a happy meal not come with a drink? 30 cents may not seem much but added to the other upcharge of 20 cents it’s half a dollar being ripped every time. Sorry business.

Stood at the counter only to have workers look at me and walk away. Drive thru to forever and had to pull aside for my meal. Waited waited order brought and I had to go in because they left out fries. Again workers looking but not helping. Manager for my fries got to the vehicle and fries were so undercooked I felt embarrassed for them. Best thing company could do is for every employee in the Pennington Gap store and start over.
