I’ve never left a review on any platform before, but this time I felt it was necessary and wanted to share my experience to help others get a better idea of this place.
I used to live in California for two years, where I tried McDonald’s, In-N-Out, and several Chinese-branded burger places. That experience once made me think that the U.S. didn’t really have good burgers—or that I just didn’t like fast food. I especially thought I hated beef burgers. However, this experience completely changed my mind. I’m not exaggerating at all when I say they are amazing.
Every employee I’ve interacted with has been extremely friendly, and the service is excellent. Their order efficiency is impressive—my food was ready in less than five minutes after ordering. I haven’t tried the drive-thru, but the dine-in experience is truly great. The food is well prepared and tastes delicious.
(My only small complaint is that the Oreo McFlurry is a bit expensive—how is it more expensive than drinks and almost the same price as a burger? As a dessert lover, this really hurts, haha.)
Overall, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very comfortable, and even if you don’t order anything, you’re not treated differently. I genuinely love this “study spot.”
Additionally, I noticed a recent buy-one-get-one promotion in the store. By completing a survey that takes about three minutes, you can receive a free item of the same or lower price. You have up to 30 days from your last purchase to redeem it. I decided to give it a try using the information from yesterday’s receipt, and I successfully got an identical meal for free! That was such a pleasant surprise.

This is one of the worst Fast food restaurant services, after having to wait more than half an hournThe customer’s service forgod to put ketchup, napkins.

Overall , it’s not a place to satisfy a a customer like me who has been eating mcdonald’s for more than thirty two years , most of it on drive through… whichnIi , when inside and the atmosphere and service was the same or worse.
I had to recycle one spoon on my truck to safely.It my deluxe double cheeseburger.

I’m only ranking service because hands down today I had the BEST customer service ever. I called about the happy meal toys and talked with Rachel and wow above and beyond! Super friendly and super helpful. I’m hoping this location gets the others for the collection cause I would definitely go here again to purchase.

The worst one
I get a large iced coffee daily and this place never ever makes it decent. For this reason I won’t stop there anymore. This was supposed to be a regular large coffee it was water with cream basically. Tasted nothing like coffee, I mentioned it to them and they answered “the machine makes it we don’t” lol

I’m honestly convinced the employees at this location are stealing or purposely keeping items from online and mobile orders, because there is just no realistic way to “forget” food every single time. It doesn’t matter if it’s a small order, a large one, or even a company order—something is always missing. And it has gotten to the point where it feels deliberate because the pattern is too consistent. Every time you reach out to complain, they suddenly become overly apologetic and offer a refund or replacement, but by then the frustration is so high that driving back feels pointless. It’s like they know people won’t want to return, so nothing changes.
What’s even worse is that the management clearly has no control over what’s happening. The managers act like it’s normal or unavoidable, when clearly it’s not. Someone needs to step up—manager, owner, whoever is responsible for running this store—because the level of carelessness or dishonesty here is unbelievable. This used to be the McDonald’s everyone relied on, the one people preferred over the others, and now it’s the one everyone avoids. When people actively switch locations in the app just to make sure their food arrives correctly, that tells you everything you need to know.
Food is not cheap anymore, and wasting money every time is unacceptable. Nobody should have to double-check their bags like they’re inspecting a crime scene, hoping the order is actually complete. It shouldn’t be a gamble to see if your food even arrives. This past week alone, I was wronged four separate times, including during a large company order that needed to be correct. And the best they could offer was a $12 refund. Honestly, that felt like an insult considering the inconvenience, lost items, wasted money, and wasted time. At this point, this place is failing badly.
Very disappointing overall. Would not recommend this location to anyone.

Every time I come here, my order is either messed up or undercooked. Today I ordered 2 McDoubles with no onions, a large fry and a nugget. Fries and nuggets were undercooked and the burgers were FULL of onions even though it said no onions on my receipt, each burger and their screen as well.

It was evening and there was delay due to only one employee working apparently.

Food was delicious.

Overall ok experience but nothing bad

Management seemed pretty lame for just keeping one guy on shift who was very stressed by the rush of orders.

My experience was definitely affected.

This McDonald’s in Rocky Hill is the worst. I always have problems there. I was the only person in the drive through and I had to wait to get someone to answer me after saying hello twice. They didn’t have apple pie but it was showing online that they did.One of my drinks wasn’t ready yet so I looked in my bag and my French fries were only half full and you could tell it was from the bottom of the serving rack. Avoid this McDonald’s I know that I will.

The food was good—fresh, hot, and exactly what you hope for from McDonald’s. Unfortunately, the service was a bit off. The staff seemed rude, and you could hear them yelling and swearing at each other through the drive-thru. Maybe they were having a bad day, but it definitely took away from the overall experience.
