McClintock Saloon & Chop House started years ago when the owners decided it was time that Stockyards City added a proper saloon. The restaurant and bar were opened to pay tribute to its roots. Guests could shop all day, check out the actual Stockyards, and then enjoy a nice steak and whiskey at the saloon. Taking it back to the old days, the woodwork in the bar and the scenery was just like stepping back in time. The unique experience doesn’t involve stereotypical saloon doors, but you’ll feel the same vibe cowboys felt walking through the doors hundreds of years ago. Visit Stockyards City to feel connected to the history and roots of the area!

The food was wonderful, everything tasted great. The steaks had a really good flavor unfortunately they were as tough as a leather shoe. I literally moved the table trying to cut into it. We didn’t complain though, we just ate what was delicious. We ordered the crab queso, that had a little kick and was served with bread and tortilla chips, highly recommend. The agrautin potatoes were very good, however they were served warm not hot, the salad was very fresh and I would go back to order a larger salad, and their biscuits are delicious and served with honey butter, jam would be a nice touch. I should have asked for a drink menu as they had a very large bar, but I didn’t so I just ordered water. Overall it was good, but I expected a way better cut of meat. Next time I’m wanting steak I’ll definitely go to Cattleman’s. B-

I stopped in around 130 after the “other” primary steak joint was PACKED. I was surprised at how much slower they were since the atmosphere seemed far more welcoming! The staff was very attentive and my med rare steak was cooked to perfection. Some of the best Mac N Cheese I’ve had if you like creamy deliciousness. The biscuit with honey butter was a treat. HIGHLY recommend.

Tucked away in the stockyard city of Oklahoma City! If you like wooden bars and incredible whisky options and good food this is your place. Lunch menu very easy on the pocket book. The bar views are just incredible. My photos are just the beginning.

I recently dined here for the first time, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The subtle yet elegant atmosphere exudes class and makes for a perfect dining experience.

Our waiter, James, truly elevated the evening. He was incredibly attentive and made some fantastic dish recommendations. It felt like he was always one step ahead, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask.

The combination of the sophisticated ambiance and James’ impeccable service made for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend McClintock Saloon & Chop House and look forward to returning soon!

There’s another very famous streak house right around the corner but I’ll choose McClintocks every time. Beautiful building and wonderful decor. The food is wonderful. My favorite steaks in okc hands down. The wait staff is top of the line. You might want to make a reservation, especially on the weekend. The bar can make anything! Love love love this place!

Walking in sets the tone that your in an old west saloon. They have the longest bar in Oklahoma, 50 ft. They have brunch, lunch, and dinner options to choose from. We started off with the fried chicken livers and the deviled eggs. Both were delicious, the deviled eggs were made with Tabasco, so they have a little kick. We ordered a Saving Private Ryan and How About them Mules for our cocktails. They were both delicious. For our main course I chose the Wild Game entree. Tonight’s choice was Kangaroo Strogonoff. It was delicious. A little dry, could have had a little gravy but otherwise very delicious. Got shoestring onion strings and Brussels sprouts with it. My wife ordered the lamb chops and they were some of the best we had ever had. Th gravy topping was a great addition and the loaded baked potato was huge and the toppings were plenty. We got the Bourbon Caramel Bread putting with fresh fruit. It was a great experience and a great meal. Our Waitress Chloe made everything very easy and her recommendations were spot on.
