This has strong New England tavern vibes. Reasonable prices, filling and tasty food, very nice staff and a pretty nice drink menu. Meatloaf dinner was great and the salmon sandwich was AMAZING. It was clean and cozy on a weekday afternoon. It seems like it’d be a great friday night stop. Also the coleslaw was fresh made in house. It was great.

What a fabulous find on our travels. The food was delicious the staff superbly helpful and friendly! Everything from the popcorn , French onion soup, Ruben egg roll and 3 different kinds of wings was delicious! My husband even got a sandwich to go for his lunch tomorrow. If we ever pass by this area again we definitely will stop. Thank you to our server who welcomed and helped us so kindly.

Since Covid I haven’t been to McCarthys but a few times. As all restaurants were struggling and I feel they may have been too. The food was good but not great like it used to be. Last weeks dining experience was just like the old days! We had potato skins, ruben egg rolls, extra crispy wings and burgers. Everything was wicked good!!! My 4 stars is back to a 5 and I look forward to going back soon!!! Get there soon and enjoy your meal!

The service was excellent and the food was even better! The sweet potato fries with the mustard sauce were absolutely delicious! My son said the Buffalo wings were the best wings he’s ever had. Will definitely return.

Walked in to a lady falling on the floor no one came to her aid we asked if she was aright as we walked in she got up and told the waitress said oh sorry… Then did you need someting? Omg ..we sat ourself and a chipper waitress came to get our order. We got the seafood chowder and a corn beef egg roll oddly they didnt come out at the same but the were amazing and i highly recommend we ordered the prime rib which was heavely flavored with sage reminded me of thanksgiving stuffing i got an end piece my girlfriend did not she got mashed with a very over cooked gravy i had baked all food was either luke warm to cool. Not sure why our food took 45 min to get to table but it might have to do with the fact our waitress was counting a cash register there was six other girls there why didnt one of them bring out the food and if our waitress would of done a one minute check back after delivery of food it could of been corrected… Dont get me wrong pime rib could of been amazing
