A Great Spot with an Even Better Patio Vibe
Stopped by with some friends for lunch during the downtown art festival, and the patio atmosphere was perfect—such a great place to relax and soak in the energy of the event.
Even though the staff seemed a bit short-handed and service was a little slow, our server handled it all with a smile and was genuinely helpful and kind.
The food more than made up for the wait—absolutely delicious!
Overall, a really enjoyable experience.
I’d definitely come back, especially during downtown events.

We used to love coming to McCall’s, but the service at this establishment is totally gone!
Last night we were never asked if we wanted a drink, never got a menu, I went and found some menus, but nobody came to take drink or food orders!
My husband and our friend finally after 45 min got up and chased down one of the two servers who then took the food orders.
It took 55 min before our friend approached the server asking about our food. She was standing there eating something. She had forgotten, ran into the kitchen and came out with our food. The chicken was so dry it was obvious it had been sitting under the heat lamp for quite a while!
We got no silverware or napkins, I again got up to find napkins. No drink orders taken. My husband and our friend finally got to the bar to get something to drink after we were done eating.
Everyone were upset at this lack of service.
How do you make money when drink or food orders are not taken?
We will come back, but we’ll eat at home and bring a water bottle.
So we’ll just sit there taking up a table enjoying the music and dancing which I feel is wrong, but what can one do?
We were told people get up and leave without paying after finally eating because the server never comes back to check on anything!

This was their 2nd chance .. idk if I totally blame the severs or management , as sitting outside w our dog we waited over 20 min for someone to wait on us, another 15 min to get 2 drinks and never saw our sever again. Someone else brought out food and we had no utensils or napkins
Flagged down a few others asking for water and a water for our dog and never got it . Food is eh. Nothing special .. sides were lukewarm . Been here well over an hour and we’d never come back, and we’ve asked for the check and still no response

Stopped here kind of by accident as we heard the country and western band playing. Restaurant was really busy. We were seated fairly quickly but took 15 minutes to get any service after we had to approach a staff member. Turns out s staff member had to leave and there was confusion on who was taking what tables. Once we were served we were quickly offered drinks and our food came out quickly. We ordered wings and chicken tenders. All were awesome…the best sauce was the Kickin Bourbon. Beer was cold. Band was awesome. Lots of people dancing. Great vibe. Would go again!

First time here and as a former restaurant critic, I am pleasantly surprised! Great service by Emalee, our server, and the food portions and quality was very good. It’s connected to the bowling alley which we didn’t know either. The Manager was sweet too and loved that we are both originally from WV.

We tried earing here during the Halloween event. We waited for what seems forever and not one person greeted us or came to the table. We went looking for someone to get menus and request service. Again, after 30 minutes not one person came to our table. We had a large party of 10+ which meant there would have been a great amount spent at this establishment. After waiting and waiting and waiting…..WE LEFT! We took our business elsewhere. We will never return to this establishment. This is such a poorly run restaurant and you will continue to lose business if you treat patrons like this.

Food is limited. Long wait for waitstaff attention (30 – 40 minutes). Longer wait for fulfillment! Tables and chairs are very crowded. Best attraction is live music. No cover charge.

They have a full bar and a decent menu of pub fare. The pork tenderloin made this Iowa girl smile. I will go back. The Hubs had the patty melt and was happy as well. Fries were good and the bartender friendly. All in all, a great place to tuck into on a rainy day. Did I mention there is also a bowling alley? Maybe next time.

It has been a long time since we had eaten there. We were surprised that although it was shortly after noon, only 2 other people were in the place. Our waitress was attentive and nice, but the food was disappointing. I had a Reuben sandwich with one side which was just ok. My husband had a turkey dinner plate, which was deli turkey with a little gravy on it and 2 sides. I ordered ice tea. He ordered a diet coke. With tip, our bill was $52.
They changed $4.99 each for the ice tea and coke.
A very pricey lunch for what we had.
