last time going to this location. north olmsted location is light years better. everything is poor quality, from the greens to the tomatoes, bacon, avocado… the BLTA is just a fail. old lettuce, mushy tomatoes, rotten avocado, microwaveable bacon. nothing more to say. the picture attached will do the talking, you decide from there.

My fiancé & I had our 1st experience today at this deli. 1st impression…cleanliness was OUTSTANDING!!! From the parking lot to the restrooms. Phenomenal!
We asked a lot of questions, asked for suggestions, & changed our minds a few times. Alexis, the young lady that helped us, was patient, kind, knowledgeable, & had honest suggestions. This young lady set a tone for everyone. She should be training everyone that comes in to work. As our food was being made I spoke to a shift supervisor, Jayla, regarding Alexis & the fantastic way she handled us. She had no idea what I wanted to talk to her about because most people talk to management for complaints not praise! She had no hesitation in speaking with us, greeted us with a smile, & had the patience to talk to us & answer any questions we had. Jayla then took us to her assistant manager Meah Griffith. This young person was professional, put together, boasted about how good her team was, and how proud she was to work for McAlister’s. At 22 this person was beaming with pride at her staff. Not ONCE did she give herself credit for the staff. She let the team have the shine!!! I say this because it takes everyone to make an experience. It has been a long time since I was blown away like this!!!
The food was brought to the table for us. Fresh, hot, delicious, & presentation was a 10!!! The service was OUTSTANDING!! The patience of the staff, the smiles, the kindness & thoughtfulness of this team was incredible!! I encourage EVERYONE to come to this McAlister’s & actually have an EXPERIENCE!! This word has been lost somewhere in the rush of life today. We felt noticed, taken care of, & we ACTUALLY felt that we were important to these people. Mad props to the people I mentioned & anyone I didnt!!!
Word of mouth is the biggest selling tool a concept has! Tara & I will be back bringing friends & family!!
Thank you to the staff for blowing our minds!!! Thank you to McAlister’s for the amazing food!! We are STILL talking about it!!! Well done!!

I’m not big on “chain” restaurants, but that being said, this place was impressive. This was only my second time here, but just like the first time, I absolutely loved what I got. I really need to remember that I have to come back more often. I think I forget about McAlister’s because I hate going to chains. I love the local places because it seems they care more, and want to provide something special for their customers. But for at least THIS McAlister’s, I rate it top notch in food quality, quantity and taste. Presentation and service were also equally impressive. The girl that took our order at the counter was cheery and polite. Special requests were of no challenge to this girl, and gave a great first impression. Now.. the sandwich. OMG! Loved it!! I got the king sized to share, that was still more than we really needed, but I managed to make it all disappear! Even the cookie was delicious. So much so, that I almost forgot to get a picture before it was gone. So, if you are in the mood for a great sandwich, definitely stop here and try it out. If you’ve been here before, don’t forget to go again and again!

My October 2025 visit took nearly an hour to get a simple spud and soup. Spilled tea on the floor was not mopped up for an hour and feedback to the company was not responded to. Very disappointing customer experience at this location.

Well it was nice I am 50yrs old an an the lady I took out chose this place as our first meeting , it was a pleasant experience. The food took just long enough that if things didn’t go well (which they went great) you would be out thw door with a new dating horror story to tell.
I would eat there again, but a little pricy for every day dining , I assume that’s why they are located in avon! Heheh

This is a good deli. The portions aren’t consistent as I’ve had both small and large amounts of meat on the same sandwich on different visits. Overall, I would visit again as long as quality and portion size don’t suffer.

This is a regular in our rotation, but the last few times, the breads on the specialty sandwiches has been so disappointing, that strongly considering not ordering them anymore. The Spuds are fantastic, and haven’t gotten bad one yet. The side of chili we got was middle of the road. Ended up just eating half a cup then putting on the Spud.

McAlister’s used to be a great place to grab a quick, reasonably-priced bite, but those days are long gone. The menu is too confusing with similarly-named sandwiches and not enough differences between them. Service can be painfully slow, especially during peak times, a common problem with all restaurants nowadays. Prices are way too high, but at least they raised the prices without shrinking the portions too much. One still gets a good meal at this deli. Just be prepared for sticker shock.

I usually don’t like franchises but this is another good one. The service is great and although you order at the counter, they give you a paper tag to put in a stand on the table so they can bring you your food. And I was impressed the server came back to ask if everything was okay. I am not a chip person, but I even liked theirs. I had the garden turkey sandwich and mom had the chicken salad sandwich with a healthy side of broccoli.
