However, there’s one surprising downside—the coffee. For a place that excels in so many areas, the coffee falls short, leaving a bitter note to an otherwise impeccable experience.
If they could elevate their coffee to match the rest of their exceptional offerings, MC Kitchen would truly be flawless. Nonetheless, it’s a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a high-end dining experience in Miami.
Nestled in the vibrant Design District, our Saturday brunch experience at this charming restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped in, the welcoming ambiance set the stage for a relaxing and enjoyable meal with friends.
To kick things off, we started with the octopus served atop a bed of black risotto. This dish was truly incredible—perfectly cooked, the octopus was tender and flavorful, and the black risotto complemented it beautifully. The bacon glaze drizzled over the top elevated the dish, adding a delightful smoky sweetness that made each bite even more mouthwatering.
Moving on to the pasta, the Strozzapreti with mushrooms and Italian sausage was simply outstanding. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the sauce was rich, with the earthy flavors of the mushrooms beautifully marrying with the savory hints of the sausage. It was a hearty dish that left us wanting more.
For pizza lovers, the Molinari Peperoni was a must-try and did not disappoint! The generous slices of pepperoni were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, sitting on a superbly baked crust that was just the right thickness.
The service throughout our brunch was attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall experience. We indulged in refreshing Bellinis, which were a lovely accompaniment to our meal. As we continued through the brunch menu, we couldn’t resist the flat iron steak and eggs, which came served with crispy potatoes and a drizzle of pesto. It was absolutely delicious—a perfect hearty end to our meal.
The location of the restaurant adds to its appeal, combined with a convenient valet service for just five dollars, making it easy to enjoy a day out in the Design District without any parking hassle.
Overall, this restaurant provides an exceptional brunch experience, with delightful food, great service, and a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal with friends.
It’s hard to find a restaurant this good! Maybe it just caught us off-guard as we were thinking it’ll just be yet another posh restaurant at the Miami design district but we’re pleasantly surprised.
Highly recommend the truffle fries! Keep in mind that they are plentiful so you won’t be able to finish them. Don’t try… there’s a lot more that you need!
Grilled shrimp Caesar was on point! Just the right touch of anchovies in the salad dressing.
Tuna ceviche was delicious.
I messed up and got the regular margarita pizza. Don’t recommend it but they do have a speciality pizza that I image would have been much better (truffle).
Burger was good. I asked to take the cheese off and received a burger that needed sauce. Guessing it may have been different if the cheese stayed.
Perfect skirt steak! Yum!
Make sure to try the aperole spritz and the spicy drink (forgot the name). Both delicious!!!
I’ll be back for seconds!
Came here for a birthday dinner with my friends while we were in town visiting.
I only leave reviews when I’m very pleasantly surprised or super happy about a visit.
The wait staff were so friendly and the food was great. The dessert menu looked amazing so we each ordered our own and we were very happy with that decision. All of the desserts were so good and the drinks were similarly impressive.
We were hungry and the entrees smelled delicious so there’s no photos of our entrees but the food was overall great.
I had the pleasure to meet the owner, Brandy who happen to be at property during our visit, she was very attentive. If your in the area, definitely stop by.
