We were in the area for a friend’s school event. Tldr, if we lived near here we’d definitely make this our go to sushi spot.

They have a few family sushi combos with 6 rolls priced very well. The dumplings have the perfect amount of crispness, and the crab rangoons don’t skimp on crab! I was very impressed with the Philly roll we had. Every ingredient tasted fresh. (The other rolls were like that too. It’s just easy to cheap out on Philly rolls specifically in my experience.)

What was really outstanding was the service. Our waitress was very attentive and checked on us a lot. There was a mistake where we were brought a roll we didn’t order, and didn’t realize until we’d already had some. It was served on the house! I really hope our waitress didn’t get in trouble for this because how it was handled it made us feel all the more impressed.

This is a wonderful hidden gem of a reasturant, the appetizers are nothing amazing, but the main course is a different matter. First things first though, our waiter, June, was absolutely amazing, always checking up on us and making sure we had everything we needed. She was one of the best things about this reaarurant.

On to the food, we got a couple of happy hour appetizers to start with, first up is the pork buns. The buns were ok, not bad but nothing I would come back for. Next was the potato croquet, nice and crunchy on the outside but so bland on the inside. Finally in the appetizers round was the gyoza, the only flavor these had was the slightly burned outside, no other flavor was really apparent.

The main course is a different story though. We ordered some hand rolled sushi (salmon, California, and shrimp tempura) these came out like tacos. They were so delicious and fresh it was crazy, we liked them so much we had to order more. I also got the chicken katsu, it was delicious, the chicken was flavorful and so crunchy and the sauce it came with was amazing.

My only complaint about the decor of the reasturant is how far the bench seats are from the table for the booths, I had to sit on the edge of my seat to be comfortably close to the table (and I’m not small in size).

My friend and I went in during a weekday lunch. There were only a couple other guests aside from us, but service was still slow.

That being said, the sushi was pretty decent! There is a generous amount of fish and less rice, which is what I prefer. The cuts of fish are also generously sized for the nigiris. The seafood was pretty fresh and good for the price.

Overall, not my favorite sushi I’ve ever had, but I still enjoyed my meal.

We tried several appetizers (potato croquettes, gyoza, chasu buns) and they were just okay except for the shrimp tempura, which was delicious, but the entrees were fantastic. My sushi tasted so fresh and delicious I ordered more and my sister’s chicken katsu was perfectly seasoned and breaded. Prices are also pretty good and our server was great. Lunch on a Monday was a nice calm atmosphere. I will probably be back.

It was okay, but I’ve had better. This is Dallas, we should have great Japanese food here! My only real complaint was the Shrimp Tempura which wasn’t really light and crispy, but heavy and undercooked. Also had the veggie tempura, it was better. Tempura is not really their forte here, and that’s what I enjoy having. Ramen was good; I’ve had way worse. So I’d say, to me, it’s average place for food. Plating was nice. Inflation hit the sushi rolls so they were smaller than my previous visit, but always professional. Service was excellent. Fairly quite for good conversation.

Loved this place! I went one day in the afternoon and they were closed but I was determined to try it so I returned the next day and ordered for pickup. My food was amazing!!! The service was great too!! I had the spicy spicy tonkotsu ramen and a California roll. I will definitely return. (I ate the ramen so fast I didn’t get a pic).

Always one of my favorite dinner spots! The atmosphere is very relaxing and friendly, just like their staff. I’ve been going here for a few years and have always loved to stop by and get a good bowl of Ramen or Udon and enjoy some sushi. They have a great variety of options for sushi and their normal menu and the prices are just as amazing.

Beautiful restaurant with an excellent staff and even better food. The salmon sashimi was delicious and fresh, perfectly buttery and melted in the mouth. If you like spice, the Spicy Garlic Tonkatsu ramen is my favorite. Do yourselves a favor and stop by and eat some good food inside a clean restaurant and atmosphere.

I ordered a poke bowl here and for some reason, half of the bowl was stuffed with leaves that didn’t really seem to serve any purpose except for an cosmetic one. The worst part about the meal tho is that I paid around $20 for it and I was still super hungry afterwards.

Like I don’t care how good the food is at this point. It could be the best food in the world, but if I’m not even close to a full stomach after paying $20 for it, then I’m sorry to say this restaurant sucks.

So for anyone who happens to read this post, if you’re looking for good sushi/ramen joint, then don’t bother with this place bcuz you’re just gonna wind up hungry and disappointed like I was.
