SO GOOD!! Came here with my family and it was wonderful! The place is incredibly clean, and the layout of the restaurant is spaced out so it doesn’t feel overwhelming as well. The food was absolutely delicious; I ordered the fried calamari and cashew nut with chicken— LOVED IT! The customer service was amazing.

The food at the Rice Factory was just amazing. I have been to Thailand many times and this place really reminded me of my trips there.

The duck salad and drunken noodles were some of the highlights of our meal.

Finally, the owners and members of staff were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

We went on a Sunday evening and were seated right away since it wasn’t busy. They have a separate vegetarian menu, but we noticed the same dishes were oddly more expensive than the regular ones that include both chicken and shrimp. We ordered drunken noodles, red curry, and green curry — all very spicy, which we liked. The food came out quickly, and the spice level was good, but the portion sizes were just okay. The bowls look big, but they’re shallow. They add an 18% gratuity for two+ people and a 3.5% credit card fee, which seems to be common these days. Also looked like the place is BYOB. Overall, it was an okay experience.

The worst service in NJ I have ever experienced. The staff was rude, not interested in taking our order, the food was served lukewarm we had to and they never brought us a to go box as we wanted to leace due to the horrible service but they didn’t bring even after requesting them 5 times for a to go box. Nightmare of a visit. Hard No!

First time at Rice Factory, servers were kind and cleared the table efficiently after each course. They checked in a few times to ensure everything was okay. Food was amazing! Dining area was clean and most importantly warm! Definitely coming back 🙂

Great Thai food.
Go to is Tamarind Duck, Pad Thai along with Drunken fried rice. Very tasty and the lady at the front is super nice. Highly recommended. Only issue at times is amount of duck that comes with the dish. For almost $30, It would be nice to get a little more duck. Other than this, the place is clean, fast and friendly service by the waiter/waitress staffs and most importantly delicious.

Ate there for a random visit and had a really nice time! The wait staff were so friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, fresh and well priced in my opinion. Plus a lovely atmosphere – you don’t see so many restaurants that still want you to have a good in-dining experience, but this is one of them! Also I loved that the mochi is the best priced in the larger asian restaurant scene (I mean $9 for three prices, can be mixed & they come pre-sliced in half!!) so I’m biased.

Rice Factory is a local Thai restaurant that is a go to for folks in the area. They have a pretty good selection of foods from seafood, to poultry as well as some vegetables dishes. They can make any dish based on your preferred spice level from not spicy at all to mild to medium to very spicy.

I had the crispy vegetable wontons with crab meat and shrimp, served with Thai sweet chili sauce. I also had Wild Shrimp with garlic, basil, mushroom, green peppercorn, chili and asparagus, served with jasmine rice.

Both dishes were well prepared and filling. The prices are reasonable and service was good.

I will def come back to this small town gem.

Overhyped and Underdelivering. I strongly disagree with the glowing reviews regarding quality and freshness. The shrimp, fish, and chicken I tried were notably stale, lacking juiciness, and chewy—a major failure for a Thai restaurant. While the sauces and curry base were good, the small portion size doesn’t justify the overall cost. What truly put me off were the mandatory add-ons: an 18% gratuity plus a 3.5% credit card processing fee. I wouldn’t mind paying a high price for quality food, but this is not where I would spend my money. Frankly, this establishment seems to be capitalizing on the lack of high-quality Thai options in NJ. I’ve had significantly better and fresher Thai food in downtown NYC and Philadelphia.

I’ve ordered from this restaurant several times, and to be fair, the food itself is consistently good flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. However, where they really lose me is the portion sizes. For the price point, it just doesn’t add up.

For example, I ordered the grilled jumbo shrimp recently delicious, yes but for $26.89, you’re getting only five shrimp, a few veggies, and maybe a tablespoon (no exaggeration) of sticky rice. It’s hard to justify that price for such a small amount of food.

Overall, great taste and quality, but the portions need serious improvement to match the cost.
