I stopped in here with a large group to eat lunch on Sunday and we were all very pleased. The place was nice and clean looking and we did not have to wait more than a couple minutes to get a table. The staff that worked there were super friendly and they kept our drinks full and served our meals promptly. It is kind of off the beaten path so you might not be able to notice it from the road. You can expect to receive the same type of meal and service that you would get at a traditional Seafood style restaurant like this. The food portions are going to be very healthy and they will quickly refill your drinks and bring you more hush puppies. But if you’re looking for some seafood and you are in the area I would recommend this place. I enjoyed it.

We have attempted to eat at Mayflower twice since they reopened in their new location. Both times we have walked out. First when they had first reopened. My husband wanted to try the buffet. We stopped in on a Saturday and they informed us that the buffet was $19.99/person. There were only a couple of items on it, no way we’d pay that kind of money for a buffet with just 3 seafood items on it.

First time eating here since the reopening and menu change. Food was horrible. I called in a seafood platter order and they had it ready in 15 minutes and the food was cheap which was good. But the quality was horrible. The flounder was dripping in grease the onion rings we’re soggy as well as the popcorn shrimp. The hush puppies were hard as bricks the tarter sauce tasted way different than before like too much vinegar. Will edit review if I eat there in the future and the food is better

We dined in. We were going to get the buffet but after looking at the salad that looked as if it had been previously frozen and fish that did not look to par, we ordered off the menu. The food we ordered was the same as the buffet , not hot and not good. The tea was hot, and the lettuce was never removed after we told them it didn’t look good. Then we find out that they aren’t associated with MAYFLOWER chain…

The food was definitely not up to par. I’ve eaten there multiple times and did my best to finish what I was served. On this occasion I didn’t eat half of it because of the poor quality.
