Awesome food priced reasonable. Great atmosphere and our server was great as well. We had an awesome experience there. It was our first time but won’t be the last. (I had the grilled jumbo shrimp and my husband had the grilled sea scallops, both were delicious!)

I stayed away from this place for a long time because I thought the restaurant was kind of tired. At my Mom’s encouragement, we ate there on a Friday night and the food was really good. Best flounder I’ve had in a very long time. Scallops not good at all….very, very fishy tasting.

Food was just ok. Shrimp tasted fine but crab cakes tasted too fishy, as they probably weren’t fresh.Waiter did great and made sure we had everything we needed.

Friendly and attentive staff. Standard menu, mostly fried, but done well. Good slaw and I like their potato salad. Definitely worth stopping by for a meal.

Visiting from New York City. I did not enjoy the food. In fact, I left the salmon. They should think about changing their seasoning and not use powder seasoning. The greens were canned greens. The shrimp was good and the hush puppies. This was my first and last time that I’ll eat at Mayflower when I return to Goldsboro.

Food was fresh and hot must of been right outa the oven. Fried baby flounder, popcorn shrimp, chicken tenders all were so good and hot. Definitely a great experience.

Have not eaten here in a while but decided to give it a try today and was very disappointed. Asked for my trout to be fried hard, got home & it was soft. No flavor and not good at all. Expensive terrible experience we definitely will not be going back.

Absolutely run down and food tasted like it was fried in old grease. The Coldslaw was rotten.It use to be very good but it has gone down the past couple of years and the are overly priced.

Crab – shrimp dip was very good, but not enough pita slices for the size served. Catfish, sea scallops, and jumbo shrimp good. Breading heavier than on some Calabash style cooking. Catfish was excellent. Shrimp and scallops slightly overcooked but good. Service good and order delivered reasonably fast.Sweet tea moderately strong and sweet. Enjoyed it.
