Pregnancy cravings don’t lie and I’ve been obsessed with their public house burger. It’s easily the best burger in Charleston. Everything tastes super fresh, the bun is perfect, and it hits every time. My husband had the shrimp burger and loved it just as much. We also tried the calamari and it was so good. The service is amazing, and they seriously have the best French fries

The food was delicious! I got the mini lamb burgers and my husband got a plain barbecue burger. Buns were very tasty and I don’t know what they put in their pickles, but wow they are good!

Came here for lunch on a Saturday with 6 kids. Waitress was very friendly. Ordered a bunch of the kids’ sliders, a regular plain cheeseburger, and a chicken Caesar salad. All the kids were happy with their dishes. I loved my Caesar salad – the flavor was top tier. Fresh and flavorful.

We always have a great experience at Maybank Public House. The food is consistently delicious, and as a vegetarian, the impossible burgers are a huge plus. It’s nice to have solid options that don’t feel like an afterthought. The cocktails are also excellent and well made every time.
Gretchen was amazing – she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of without ever feeling rushed. Her service really elevated the whole experience. This is one of those places we’re always happy to come back to.

The food, service, and experience are consistent and excellent overall. If you are a fan of good burgers, this spot is so underrated! I also highly recommend the corn fritters and the rib appetizer. They even have a delicious lamb gyro. I can honestly say that everything that I have tried at this restaurant is amazing. Give them a try!
Update: They still go so hard! Never disappointed. The spicy aioli paired with their calamari is such a tasty vibe. And the beet salad with goat cheese fritters over arugula is so amazing.

Nice place to grab a bite. Our waiter was Collin B. He was very friendly and helpful. We had Shrimp and A Chicken sandwich. Very good portion. Clean and pleasant place.

We had planned to go to a different restaurant for lunch but the line to get in was insane, so we asked Google for a shrimp po boy near me and Google said Maybank Public House.
This place had a really nice private outdoor area and we sat down to order. However there was no shrimp po boy on the menu. So we asked the server and she said they had one for years but it was taken off the menu a few years ago and replaced by a shrimp burger. So the hubs ordered one of those I was too suspicious that it would taste good – so I ordered a club.
I had a locally brewed dark beer, which was super tasty. I tried to order a half pour – but they don’t offer that. Bummer.
The hubs ordered the shrimp burger with fries and a side of the gouda mac and cheese. I had the club and fries.
We were shocked how good that shrimp burger was – it tasted AMAZING!!! The fries were yumO and the mac and cheese was very good too.
