Maverick’s Bar and Grill has great bar food at reasonable prices. The Friday special on AYCE whitefish tasted homemade because the breading was light, but it was well seasoned at the same time. It came out piping hot, too. We have enjoyed the Sunday broasted chicken special many times there and at home as a carry out. For the money, it’s best broasted chicken around, and it’s served with real mashed potatoes or fries. For an appetizer, try the fried green beans and the curds, of course. Tried the burgers, and they also rocked. There’s a bar area with stool seating and a separate dining area with regular tables as well. The staff and new owners are friendly and attentive. Worth the drive and easy to find because the town is tiny.

Great little bar, stopped in for a quick appetizer and drinks. Everything was clean and nicely kept. Owners were nice and friendly. There was a small dinning area if you wanted a quieter area to have dinner away from the bar area. Will definitely be stopping in again to check out more of the menu

Had their Friday Fish fry which was ok but waited for an hour and 15 minutes for our food. I will not go back again for fish on a Friday. Suggest you call in an order way ahead of when you want to eat. They have excellent broasted chicken though.

We stopped in for a couple beers. Sammy was our bar tender. WOW. She made our visit so much fun. Did you know she can speak German. So much fun hearing her and Ryan talking to each other in German. Thank you Sammy for having so much fun with us
