We took my mom here for a Kobuto like experience for her birthday. Upon arrival, we noticed that the website was no longer valid, they don’t cook in front of you anymore . We didn’t have a plan B so we stayed. Nothing wowed us, but maybe the price for the food. We were charged extra to get teriyaki sauce, and had to help the young lady who took our order, with who ordered what. I’m sure that this place is better than what we experienced, it just didn’t wow us.

I hate to only give them 4 stars because this is a good restaurant that I will keep coming back to but last night the waitress we had was not exactly on top of her game. I know they were busy and even accounting for that my drink went empty and stayed empty for an extremely long period of time mean while the othe waitress that was working was obviously more experienced and was able to work all of the tables around us while our service was mediocre. The food on the other hand was great just as it normally is.

From the last time I went in this place this was a sizable difference. Im not chef but grilled chicken is not supposed to be crispy. Was way way over cooked. Steak wasnt as bad but it was also over cooked. But the shining star on my experience was my waitress. Probably if not the worst she is in the top 2. Asked me what I wanted to drink. I said tea. She brought me water. Told her I wanted soup no salad. Didn’t bring the soup. The table that sat 10 or 15 mins after me got their soups and salads. Also while she was taken my order she stopped to talk to the table behind me about something that wasnt food related. That table also got their food before I did. Then maybe a 1/3 of the way through i was out of tea because I was trying to soften the chicken. And sat there another 13 mins(timed it at this point). And then she refilled the other table then finally saw it was out and got to me. Awful awful awful waitress

Staff is not as friendly. Prices went up a lot and food portions went down…a lot. If you dine in you get unlimited white sauce, if you get takeout you have to pay for it. I watched the lady in front of me fill up 9 cups and take it to her table..i filled up one and the lady literally told me to give it back or pay for it
Food has been very plain, they got my order worng and forgot the springrolls. We are probably about done with this place and ready to try other places

Really good. Nice people, fast service. Huge portions. My only gripewould be that I didnt get many vegetables on my hibachi plate, could’ve used more and less rice, I was eating rice for 3 days lol.
I got the steak, it was tender, but not too flavorful and my husband got the chicken, we both really liked the chicken one, the flavor on it was so good. The spring rolls were also good. This is a far food, order yourself or takeout type place.

1st time I went in it was very busy and I didn’t think much of it but I came back like 2 days later around open and the tables were all icky and sticky. Not just 1 but we sat at 3 different tables and they were all funky. (The reason I sat at 3 tables is because the 1st table I sat at was sticky and I ask my waitress if she could possibly wipe the table off because it was sticky and she was like … well you can sit anywhere you want if you don’t want to set there …) Next table I sat at was no better sticky as the last then moved 1 more time and same thing sticky again. I will say the food was good and the lunch prices were good but the cleanliness was a bit off putting

Just left here, the service was terrible, i ordered my drinks and was pressured to order my food at the same time. I was waiting on my waitress so i could add another soup and she was nowhere to be found. They kept telling me they ran out of the, meanwhile the table next to us had a pitcher of tea on their table, when they finally brought our food out after 40 minutes, my food was wrong, and she seemed like she didn’t want to fix it. i ordered sushi as well, classic california rolls, and they tasted like refrigerator. i ate one, didn’t like it, and asked for a refund, they said a refund wasn’t possible because “she uses the same recipe everytime”. safe to say, they will not be getting my business, and they shouldn’t get yours either, overall 1 STAR

o this place since they opened. If the female owner is not running the register… service is going to SUCK. I always eat in. Anyway .. I go today and someone different is behind the counter. She proceeds to take my Oder and then barks at me”eat in or go”? I told her I was eating in and she barked “you no order here.. you go there” and motioned towards an open table as she proceeds to pick up the phone and begin taking another order. Mind you, I have ALWAYS ordered at the counter for the years that I have come here. I digress. I went to sit down to wait to be served… ordering ahead of the rest of my party as I had somewhere to be. After 10 minutes, no one had acknowledged me… so I got up and left. I called my party and we are going somewhere else. There were at least 6 of us… $20 per person + drinks + appetizers… they lost at least $150-200 by being rude. In a day with so many options, I will not pay to be disrespected by a business. You need me more than I need you. The owners have always been kind, but then again, your employees reflect on your business. I will look for other options for hibachi in the future. I won’t allow this to become the norm when I am paying you for service.

I expected this to be a standard strip mall Japanese restaurant, but it’s actually just a step or 2 below a sit down restaurant with servers. The food is pretty good, and you get a ton of it. It’s a good deal for the price. You’re able to help yourself to as much sauce as you want up front, so that’s a huge plus.
I’ll get food from here again.
