I stopped in for a sandwich and had the best sub that I have eaten in a long time. I ordered their Super Sub, and I could only eat half and brought the rest home, and my wife loved it as well!!

Wonderful dining experience! We preferred not to wait for a table in the dining room and were seated in the bar area in a quaint circle booth that worked great for our family. The service was great. Our food was delicious with generous portions. The prices are very reasonable. My only regret is that we were visiting from another state, so I can’t go back weekly! But we will be back when we return.

We came on a weekday evening and had the dining room almost to ourselves. Our dinners were very good and service, top notch. Our waiter was prompt and really cared about making sure we had a good experience. All-you-can-eat fish seconds came without even asking. I didn’t need another round after that.
We appreciated the coziness of the private dining booths. The tables would work well for a large group. The dining room is upscale, so classic rock seemed a little out of place. It wasn’t loud however, and talking was easy.

Cool little joint just off the 196 freeway, we’re new to GR so we’re trying some of the so called ‘standards’ of the area and this gem didn’t disappoint. I would suggest you make reservations, at least on the weekend as it got busy quickly around 6pm and it’s not that big of a restaurant in the first place. Nice ambience, cozy, low ceilings, full bar. The staff was super nice and friendly too.
We had the Fettuccini Alfredo & Chicken Divan. Their unlimited garlic bread was good, nice crust on the outside and soft on the inside. The only complaint I’d have, and it’s not a big one, but their dinner salads leave a lot to be desired. You get iceberg lettuce, some shredded carrot and 1 cherry tomato – exactly 1 tomato. It looks like they used to have a salad bar, looked to be covered up with white cloths. If they bring that back, I’d give it a solid 5 stars, but for now, a pretty solid 4.

I have been here multiple times in the past, and all times have been great. But today was the opposite. 1st thing to happen was a 15 minute wait on refills. 2nd thing I got the pasta platter and the lasagna was so small I finished it in 3 bites, the spaghetti was a weak portion as well. But the fettuccine was terrible. It was all oil and just covered in cheese, no sauce just cheese. And when I told the waiter (Doug) he just said that shouldn’t be like that, and brought our bill with $0 taken off for the inedible Alfredo. I don’t normally talk up or say something is wrong with my food, but 1/3 of the meal I ordered was inedible and disgusting.

I have only gotten takeout, but everything I have tried has been so good! Pictured is half of the pasta combo, it is the perfect amount to split for 2. What is not pictured is the amazing flavor that everything has that you don’t get at most American-Italian places! We will go back every time we want Italian food.
