We’re Maukis Bakery & Country Store, and we’ve been a cafe here in St. Louis, MO, since 2020. We specialize in breakfast, and we offer baked goods, coffee, mimosas, and much more. We started this business after leaving the corporate world to bring our passion to the people we love most. We’re looking forward to partnering with St. Louis, Brentwood, and Kirkwood consumers to continue to offer a premier cafe and bakery experience. This place has legit full meals like burgers, sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, etc… Get down here ASAP. Best bang for your buck for breakfast or lunch food AND desserts. HUGE portions. Everything homecooked, everything reminds you of family from the decor, to the food (especially the desserts), and definitely the owners!

Mauki’s is a must-do stop in St. Louis/Soulard! I had delicious French Toast with fresh berries, gooey butter cake and the best chocolate chip cookie! A great place in the area to enjoy homemade breakfast, lunch, bakery items, salsas, sauces and a whole lot more! Angie & Lee took great care of me when I visited. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area!

Wow! Large portions here so be ready. Ordered cheeseburger of course, chicken fried steak, potatoes, french fries, and biscuits and gravy was a half order. Largest portion sizes I’ve ever seen. Everything was really good. And the service there was impeccable. Cool place to walk around Soulard is always the best. Beautiful day as well.

Got biscuits and gravy. The biscuits look beautiful! Unfortunately they are basically raw in the center. The gravy could be amazing, but it lacks salt and is overwhelmed with thyme. I added salt and it as better. Would have been able to finish it if the biscuits were all the way done.. Hoped for more. It could be a bad day of cooking, not sure yet.
