My review will be mostly focused on the multi-course dinner my wife and I had here. And I just have to say; Wow. This was an outstanding experience. Farm to Table dining in its purest form. They recycle almost literally everything on this farm. Very little if anything goes to waste. But i’ll let them explain all that. As much as the meal takes center stage here, I have to say Chef Scott is the star. Himself and every other worker on this farm is incredibly passionate about what goes on here. And that translates into one of the most enjoyable dining experiences one can have which include a brief tour of the farm, some education on Bees, delicious meal creations, and breath taking views. Apologies for “waxing poetic” as they say. But this unique experience had to be shared. In the words of our favorite actor/governor: I’ll be back.

First time stopping here on the island, we’ll be back this trip and next! Great coffee, honey, food, and chilled drinks including Jun honey kombucha. They have a little bee display museum with a live hive and interpretive displays on bees. Garden is a dream, fresh clean and beautiful, you can stroll through it and pet some friendly felines. Also, a great shaded sitting area.

Note: this business seems to primarily be a small eco-friendly regenerative farm and cafe. They certainly have bees and can teach you a lot about them, but it was not the dominant thing going on there. Not a criticism, just a clarification due to the name. There is a great little cafe, a stunning farm garden, a very well designed bee biology classroom, some orchard trees, chickens, and truly incredible views westward down to the ocean and across the rest of the island. Visit for a drink, a small bite, a beautiful stroll, and a super peaceful setting.

Loved the stop here. Made a quick stop for a jar of winter honey. The girl working there was super friendly and let us in their small museum and we saw bees working! Beautiful dahlias!

If you’re into upcountry experiences, make sure you plan a stop at Maui Bees. This delightful oasis makes a perfect break from any busy sightseeing itinerary. The staff here are friendly, welcoming, and they made it easy for us to hang out, take a breather, and enjoy the scenery. They grow all the produce for sale in the little open-air shop where you can also get coffee, tea, and delicious “Jun on Tap” made with local ingredients. The little bee museum is delightful and free, and you can also book bee tours in advance (I think on Fridays and Saturdays, but check ahead). It’s also only minutes away from Grandma’s Coffee House and Kula Bistro and they also have a clean and comfortable restroom.

Though its pricy this is one of those experiences that you’ll remember. Beginning with a tour of the farm where all the produce is growth for the 7 course meal we learned about the bee keeping and farming techniques. Dinner then began on the edge of the garden, each course delightful, fresh and flavorful. We then switched locations to continue the meal while watching a gorgeous sunset view over the water. Some of our favs…. Fresh honeycomb. Stuffed squash blossoms, octopus salad, katsu egg, kambucha float and an amazing cheddar cheese ice cream. A really great evening.

Loved it!! Been following them on Instagram for a while now and was finally able to visit! It’s a great farm they have and great community outreach! Super friendly people, knowledgeable staff and great fresh air! Got to taste the 3 different types of honey, summer, winter, and macadamia nut. Winter was my favorite but Mac nut was unique! All wonderful flavors!

On a bike ride down Haleakala, we decided to take a detour to Maui Bees. This farm was incredible! They grow a variety of produce and make their own honey. In addition to those tasty offerings, the property is beautiful and the staff is so friendly. We were given a tour by Kyle and it was evident he is passionate about his work on the farm. Make sure to stop by and check out their offerings!
