Convenient for tourists in nearby hotels and conventions to locals in downtown Dallas and Uptown. Mattito’s is located in the Centrum Building and offers free parking in a large underground garage. The food and menu is great. For lunch the #4 is my go to; house specialty chicken chili relleno and cheese enchilada. Avocado enchiladas are real good; all enchiladas are good. Restaurant sits on the corner overlooking a vibrant city intersection. The interior is spacious with modern artistic charm. Roberto waits during the week; he and his co-workers provide great service. The entire staff is very friendly.

The food is delicious. Get the off menu “Bob Armstrong dip” as an appetizer, you will not be disappointed. My favorite is the chili relleno. The chicken fried steak is also really good. Consider yourself lucky if Roberto waits on you. Nice, relaxing space with patio seating available.

Roberto was sensational as always. I’ve known him for a decade. Forest Ln. and Oak Lawn locations. I hadn’t been in for a “minute” but he recognized me and made me feel right at home. The food was fabulous, the rumba Ritas excellent, lunch specials and service were better than Javier’s. You read that right. I so appreciate Roberto and Mattito’s. Sirnpre!
